Mac Swinford
Mac Swinford (1899-1975) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on August 19, 1937 to a new seat created by 49 Stat. 1806. He was confirmed by the Senate on August 20th, and received commission on August 21st. From 1963 to 1969, he was the chief judge of the Eastern District. He served on these courts until his death on February 3, 1975.[1]

He served on these courts until his death on February 3, 1975.[1] Swinford was succeeded in this position by Eugene Siler.
