|I am a nonprofit leader and the founder of BRAWS (Bringing Resources to Aid Women's Shelters), an organization that has delivered 4 million+ menstrual supplies to women and girls in crisis. I am also a former teacher at Vienna Elementary School and a mother to two Fairfax County Public School kids.
As an ordinary citizen, I have extensive experience working with legislators on both sides of the aisle in Richmond to pass bills that have helped millions of people in Virginia. These bills include helping incarcerated folks live with dignity, ensuring students don’t have barriers to their education, and eliminating the tampon tax once and for all, removing this archaic penalty for having a period.
- My top priority will be protecting abortion rights from Governor Youngkin and extremist Republicans and expanding resources to women and children in crisis to live with dignity.
- As a mother to two kids in our public schools, I will work to protect our progress on gun reform from Republicans and keep pushing to ban assault weapons.
- For our kids' futures, we must address the the climate emergency at all levels of government and I will work to protect Virginia's progress on climate legislation while pushing for common-sense solutions to accelerate our transition away from fossil fuels.
I care deeply about investing in education and small businesses, as well as providing economic opportunities to support our underprivileged family and friends. I've committed to these causes through my previous work and I re-commit myself to fighting for these causes in Richmond.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
