Wes came into The Ruins with a "Dude, You Slept With My Ex-Fiance"-sized chip on his shoulder -- and he didn't exactly go out in a blaze of glory. So we were appropriately shocked when the Italian Stallion and the "Red-Headed Slut" hugged it out (and exchanged niceties!) on tonight's Ruins Reunion. Even more surprising? The lovefest didn't stop when the guys got together backstage. Watch as Kenny digs deep and gives Wes a straight-from-the-heart apology (slash explanation), while Wes bows his head and pays his respects to a worthy opponent.

+ Bonus: Find out whether Wes and KellyAnne's relationship survived The Ruins, plus hear Evan and Kenny ponder Wes' between-the-sheets persona!

We'll admit it: we had mixed emotions when watching this week's Ruins finale. On the one hand, we wanted to see KellyAnne and Sarah give those guys the shock of a lifetime by snatching the grand prize right from under their overconfident little noses. On the other hand, we wanted to see Susie make Johnny eat his words by busting ass -- and leading her team (of ingrates) to certain victory.

In the end, we got one of our wishes (Susie stepped up and saved the boys' butts!) but the Champs' top girl admits she came thisclose to throwing in the towel -- and joining forces with the Challengers. Listen up as Susie talks about the temptation she felt to eff over her team, plus hear why Evan says he'd like to do a Challenge where all the shady side-deals are right out in the open.

Ever wondered how smart (or strong, or tough) you gotta be to take home first prize on a Real World/Road Rules Challenge? Well, the way Susie sees it, the game's not really about being the best -- or the brightest. It's about being good "enough." In other words? You've gotta be clever enough to stick around til the end. And athletic enough not to pass out before you reach the finish line.

So what does the rest of the winner's circle (and, uh, Sarah) have to say? Well, while Johnny claims the game's "much more mental than it is physical," Evan's more concerned with the way his team exaggerated their (alleged) athletic achievements. Hear the Ruins crew discuss the importance of brains vs. brawn, then watch Evan argue that most of his teammates were a bunch of wannabe jocks and liars.

Atta girl, Susie! We gotta hand it to Goldilocks: the abuse she suffered at the mouth of Johnny Bananas these past few episodes of The Ruins was pretty brutal -- but Sooz simply slapped on some noise-proof earmuffs, stood her ground in the physical challenges and played a ruthlessly smart game, which ultimately won her even more Benjis than the boys! Plus, to sweeten the pot, Johnny did MORE THAN ONE takesies-backsies of every mean thing he ever said about the Ruins all-star. Don't ya just love a happy ending, served with a huge dose of humble pie? Watch Susie give Johnny sincere thanks for (finally) manning up and admitting who's boss:

Bonus: After the jump, the Ruins cast explains that in order to win a challenge, you've gotta possess a balanced combo of smarts and strength ... which the bulk of their past competitors seem to always be lacking.

The promise of an overflowing piggy bank can be most persuasive. Not only might you be willing to run around in nothing but a banana hammock, but you'd also probably consider putting all sorts of foul-tasting creatures down your throat -- even though you knew for sure they'd eventually come creeping back up (and out). Take a second look at the scene from tonight's Ruins finale in which the last-men/women-standing were almost defeated by a plate of insect appetizers. Plus, also check out our http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/463734/cats-outta-the-bag.jhtml#id=1627513" target="_blank">Ruins Replay video of Johnny, Susie, Evan and Sarah describing the after-effects of chugging down some good ole fashioned bug juice.

KellyAnne and Sarah gave Susie and the guys an incredible run for their money, but at the end of the day, the last Challengers standing finally ran out of steam. Despite playing with the heart of Champions, the two-girl team saw their lead start to slip away somewhere around the balance beam, and their dramatic fight to the finish ended up in a heartbreaking defeat.

Yep, while Kenny, Evan, Derrick, Johnny and Susie held their $160,000 check up high, the ladies struggled to hold it together, fighting off the feelings of exhaustion, disappointment and regret that come with coming in second. And though the girls didn't earn the big bucks tonight, they definitely earned our respect for staying classy, putting up a hard-fought battle and showing graciousness in defeat.

+ We wanna know: Are you guys happy with how this game turned out? Or would you have preferred to see David take down Goliath in the final stretch of The Ruins? Take the poll and tell us whether you'd have liked to see KellyAnne and Sarah go in as Challengers -- and go home as Champions!

Watching the Real World/Road Rules Challenges is like eating potato chips — once you start, you can’t stop. And since Wednesdays (at 10pm) always seem so far away, we’ll be sifting through the Challenge Dailies every weekday afternoon to give you your daily dose of The Ruins. You’re welcome.

How much would you pay to see Kenny strip naked? Well, take that figure and double it cause THIS homegrown Jersey guy Italian Stallion don't come cheap. Sure, he's given the girls a (gratis!) glimpse of the merchandise once or twice (or two hundred times) before, but throw in a few extras (like a dirty lap dance for Sarah!) and the price jumps all the way up to $1500 a pop.

So are the girls willing to part with their cold, hard cash for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? With only one more day to go 'til the final Ruins, the natives are gettin' restless -- and in our (TV-watching) experience, that usually leads to someone gettin' nekked. Anyhow, watch as Susie and KellyAnne kick off the sexy striptease negotiations and tell us whether the girls are getting a sweet deal -- or the short end of the stick.

We didn't think we'd have many doubts going into The Ruins finale. After all, the Champs are standing strong (with Kenny, Evan, Derek, Johnny and Susie rounding out the roster) while the Challengers are down to just two players: KellyAnne and Sarah. But if you put aside the teams' respective win-loss ratios (and relative arm strength) and consider the facts, we'd argue that the Challengers still have a decent shot of turning this one out.

Look, we're not saying they're stronger, faster or craftier than the guys. What we're saying is: they don't have to be. As Johnny Bananas pointed out, the girls don't need to outclimb, outrun or outswim the entire Champions team -- they just need to make it across that finish line before Susie does.

After getting his butt kicked by Cohutta in The Ruins, you'd think Wes would've hightailed it outta Thailand. Instead, the divisive former Champ (who threw his team for a loop by throwing several missions) decided to make the most of his final interview with the show's producers. No, he didn't spend it slamming Kenny and Evan, professing his love to Johanna KellyAnne or cussing out Cohutta. Wes actually took to the airwaves and issued an important message to America's youth! His bottom line? Don't grow up to be like us.

Check out the rest of Wes' "I'm not a role model" speech below, and let us know if you think the (supposed) philanthropist went out like a Champ -- or a chump.

Evan and Kenny thought they had a pretty stacked team going into the Ruins finale, but they never imagined they'd be kicking things off with a "Bizarre Buffet" of bugs (like beetles' legs!) and rotten fruit. Yep, it's almost time for the last challenge, and in the shocker to end all shockers, it looks like KellyAnne and Sarah may actually have the advantage! Check out this sneak peek of Wednesday night's Ruins and watch as the Challenger girls chow down ... and give Kevan, Johnny, Derrick and Susie an unexpected run for their money.
