Tonight's first regional Dance Crew competition had five southern crews fighting for a coveted spot in the main show (starts Feb. 18). And after Swagger Crew and Jungle Boogie got a free pass, Royal Flush, Ghost Crew and X-treme Motion were left to battle it out in the round. Ultimately, the unbeatable poker hand crew left the stage to dance another day while Ghost and X-treme were forced to take a bow and say goodbye.

In the video below, check out some parting words from the prettiest losers of the evening. (Note: Ghost vanished out of sight before we even had a chance to wish them good luck!)

Most kids spend their first week at a new school trying not to call too much attention to themselves. But at SCPA, it's not about hiding in a corner-- it's about finding ways to stand out.

For some, like talented (and head-turning) newbies Anna and Emily Silber -- getting noticed wasn't a problem. Others, like Carlton, had to work twice as hard to show he's there to compete. Ian had the advantage of already knowing Tyler, the (mostly) self-proclaimed king of the school, while Adam and Emily Sones helped get each other through their big debut. So which Taking the Stage newcomer had the best breakthrough act? Take the poll and tell us who you think is already taking SCPA by storm!

Emily Silber might've caught Tyler's eye doing hip-hop, but she earned herself a spot at SCPA by nailing her contemporary dance audition. Her secret weapon? The music she chose has been her inspiration ever since the eighth grade.

We saw a hint of Emily's evocative choreography during the Season 2 Audition Special, but now she's ready to show her entire breathtaking performance (and prove Beyonce's not the only one who can rock it out in a leotard). Find out the story behind her song, "Frost," then watch Emily's hauntingly beautiful performance piece.

Last season, Massive Monkees' Lil Lazy exchanged marriage vows in front of his best friends, competitors and the entire ABDC blog. Now, only one week deep into Season 5, we're able to top that excitement with a surprise that can only be explained by Swagger Crew's Jason "Caba" Cabacungan. Get your tissues ready...

Is it just us, or do those Hills gals sure love getting pampered? First, Audrina Patridge tweets about her "girly" day (of "hair, nails and facials,") then Stephanie Pratt shows off her windblown/goddess mane outside Anastasia Salon (pictured above).

Truth is, we've seen all the ladies gettin' their groom on over the years (what?! it's a chick thing!), but one golden gal seems to hit up the stylist seat more than all the others combined. We are, of course, talking about Laguna native Kristin Cavallari, who keeps herself lookin' Legally Blonde with biweekly trips to the salon. Below, see Kristin flaunt her follicle superiority after three recent visits. Now there's a gal who gets her beauty rest!

Not everyone can pull off the hot pink minidress -- but when Kristin Cavallari threw on this poppin' bubble gown, she burned up the red carpet! In fact, the entire look is smokin'. From the neon accents on her heels to the bubbalicious lipstick, K-Cav's singlehandedly bringin' the hubba hubba back to Hollywood. Check out these shots of the Hillzie steamin' up the scene at the When In Rome premiere and tell us whether you're also diggin' her Legally Blonde-esque ensemble.

He may be an ABDC newbie, but don't think for a second that Omarion is gonna take it easy on any of the Season 5 crews. We sent in Beat Freaks' Lindsey B. to find out what O and the rest of the three-headed judging monster are going to be looking for this regional round. Check out what they all had to say backstage before the premiere episode kicks off tonight at 10/9c!

For the past few seasons, we've brought in some heavy-hitting ABDC alumni to be our weekly guest bloggers, so this season we started off as strong as we could possibly imagine -- cue Lindsey Bluafarb of the legendary Beat Freaks! Come along as she takes us on a backstage tour of the five southern regional crews battling it out to make it to nationals...

Liz isn't your "typical" teenage girl. Then again, neither is her ex-friend (and current bikini model) Taylor. On the one hand, Tay Tay loves spray tans, Barbie doll pink and playing lady-in-waiting to Cori's Queen Bee. On the other hand, Taylor has ... substance. She sees Liz as a human being, calls Sully "hysterical" and told Cori her carnation prank was "rude and distasteful." Sure, she stood idly by while Cori taunted Liz about the talent show (and told her boobies were more important than brains), but hey, that's life high school.

So is there more to Taylor than meets the eye? Perhaps! Listen in as she calls Liz a "beautiful person," gives shoutouts to Troy, Miles and the gang and explains why she's an honorary member of the Nerd Herd.

If you had told Jersey Shore's Mike Sorrentino a few years back -- when he was exotically shakin' his tail for the ladies -- that soon there'd be a beer named after him, well ... he probably would have believed it. And ain't it the truth: according to SlashFood.com, New Jersey's Iron Hill Brewery plans to unleash 'The Situation' (formerly known as Golden Barleywine) on Feb. 20 at the regional brewery's Maple Shade, N.J., location. Looks like a toast is in order!

Here's to Jersey Shore's Sitch
Whom without which
We never would have known
The sweet scent of Ed Hardy Cologne
And solemn sound of grenades being thrown
