I wanted to celebrate women in this issue, successful, strong women.

s the winter skies envelop us and cold mornings impose on our daily walks, I think about how different things are for us here in Australia, both in comparison to this time last year and also the way we are living here as opposed to the rest of the world.

A

I wanted to celebrate women in this issue, successful, strong women. Women who have worked hard emotionally, physically and psychologically to make their mark, not only for themselves but for those around them, and to create a legacy for their friends and family.

I consider ourselves lucky that we are allowed the luxury of being able to shoot for this issue together as creative teams. Last winter we had to create our first-ever digital issue via Zoom and from stock images. I missed the camaraderie that the Façon team has as creatives. When we are together we thrive off each other’s energy, it is what keeps our creative juices flowing.

This issue also celebrates the life of the beautiful Carla Zampatti, a force to be reckoned with in the Australian fashion industry. I had the privilege of meeting Carla and working with her phenomenal brand when I was working as a fashion editor in Sydney. The sad news of her passing touched many and that is why I felt I wanted to talk about her in the “Femme Issue”.

This issue interestingly started as one themed as a celebration of “Fashion, Music, Art” but organically morphed its way into another theme, “The Femme Issue”.

I hope you enjoy this issue. I am grateful that we have Façon to talk about and celebrate ideas and topics that are important and of course we love to wrap it up in big fashion, beauty and lifestyle bow for you, our wonderful readers.

I’m not quite sure when it took this direction. Maybe it was when we did the shoot with our powerful female cover girl Shiralee Coleman as I saw her brave the elements and her fear as we lifted her off the ground hanging on the hook of a crane. She took to the sky with strength and a look of ease, but I knew the manoeuvre was difficult. This made me start to think of the difficult manoeuvres females make in their lives, as they work through their careers and life. As the world continues to throw females ‘curve balls’ that we have all become very aware of, particularly in recent times.

Thank you once more for continuing to support Façon Magazine Australia. xx Lara Winter 2021

ou can tell a lot about a person by their shoes and in Shiralee Coleman’s case there’s also some fancy footwork involved.

The proud Novocastrian beauty effortlessly sashays from model and influencer by day to ARIA-charting DJ at night thanks to a little trick. “I walk into a club armed in my ponytail and heels ready to play my set,” says Shiralee, whose preferred stage outfit is a jumpsuit. The shoe manoeuvre speaks volumes of the diligent work ethic and grounded nature of Shiralee, who has worked with brands such as Armani, Tom Ford and Calvin Klein. Hot on the heels of her first dance track Can You Feel It gracing the ARIA charts, she is preparing to release a second and resume touring as a DJ. She is also taking nothing for granted. “It has been hard, it’s not like everything falls into your lap,” says the only child to a nurse of Filipino descent and an Australian dad with British and Irish blood. “Every day I practice for the moment I go on stage and there are so many hours that go into it,” she says. “I am playing next to guys with 20 years behind them and so much experience. I am the new girl on the block. I have to level up. I have everything to prove.” Raised in Rankin Park in suburban Newcastle, Shiralee’s creative gene was nurtured early by music-loving parents. “I remember making my mum buy me a Metallica T-shirt when I was 12,” she laughs. “She thought I was crazy.”

Shiralee’s father passed when she was seven, not before leaving some influential advice. “His parting words were that he wanted me to promise him I would be an artist. And to always be creative,” Shiralee says, adding that there are painters in her family circle. A teeny bit wayward in her teens, Shiralee was sent to boarding school in Bathurst in her high school years, an experience she says was life-changing. “I have great memories from that time and even better friendships that came out of it,” she says. “I was this surfy girl who came from the beach and wore different clothes to all the other girls. I’d wear a Rip Curl jumper with denim shorts and Converse and they’d be in jeans and RM Williams boots.” Shiralee was in Charlestown Square when she caught the attention of a Chadwicks spotter. She began modelling but her mum advised her not to move to Sydney until she had completed a business degree at the University of Newcastle. “She pointed out I could still model on the side but living in Sydney wouldn’t facilitate study. Mum has always been a huge role model, “ Shiralee says. Soon after, she moved to Sydney, landing her “dream role” as the national marketing and PR manager for women’s label Seduce. “I started working on these incredible campaigns, shooting with Vogue photographers such as Paul Empson and Terence Chin,” she says. “Being on set and creating these high-end shoots I was in my element. I was very lucky but I definitely chased down that job. I remember being so nervous for the interview, as if my life depended 30 |

on it. Looking back, it kind of did. I deliberated for days what I was going to wear to the interview and what I was going to say. I am so grateful they saw my passion.” Shiralee, who nominates Dion Lee and Steven Khalil as among her favourite brands, realised the power of a new social media format ahead of the pack. “I started my Instagram back in 2012, so it’s coming up to my 10year anniversary, isn’t that insane?” she laughs. After a two-year stint in Europe, Shiralee returned to Sydney to work for PR company Raw Fashion Agency and was asked to send designer threads to bloggers, or potential influencers. “There were only a handful of bloggers back then but it worked. It was all very new, and at the same time I was attending a lot of events and I would also wear my clients’ designs to these parties, and every time I would share a picture it was getting them attention and traction,” she remembers. “Designers starting saying to me, ‘Why don’t YOU wear my garments and shoot them for your page?’ This was the start of my page and where I began my following. As a model, I had all this experience being on set and using imagery. I started taking some creative direction and being very conscious about my layout, branding and how to make my pictures look different to everyone else. “It was an incredible time and to this day I still love shooting, the creative process. I saw my growth through this new avenue. I was getting reposted all over the place, by celebrities and brands and this really kick-started my reach.”

Shiralee has 226,000 Instagram followers and sees the business reach of the platform but she takes it all with a healthy grain or two of salt, admiring the likes of Celeste Barber and those comedians who parody the cult of celebrity. “I don’t take it too seriously,” she says. “I remember when I first started shooting pictures for Instagram before content creation was even a thing and people used to tease me but now it’s a part of every business’ online strategy. “I always knew it was the way, moving forward.” Shiralee is now using her social reach to promote her rising musical career. Her love of music was, she says, “always in the back of my mind”, and as she did events for Australian Fashion Week and mingled with artists, she knew that she wanted it to be in her orbit: “The planets were starting to align and I could feel the pull.” Shiralee was driving to Byron Bay at the end of 2018, playing her song list (‘I’m not going to lie, I have some great music in my playlist!’) and told her best friend, “I really want to be a DJ. I have said this in my younger years and I’m still saying it today.” Determined to give it a shot, Shiralee called her friend George Petridis, now director and creator at Newcastle dance label Pumping Records, who encouraged her to attend an open day at the National Music Academy. In early 2019 she attended ‘DJ school’ there, learning the ropes over six months, before buying decks and building a studio in her Newcastle home.

Jayne Drinkwater Greater Bank: Deputy Chair Greater Charitable Foundation: Director

G

reater Bank deputy chair Jayne Drinkwater is a picture of style and confidence. She is intelligent, articulate and measured in her responses. It’s hard to believe that someone as ambitious, well credentialed and who has experienced such success would be seen as anything but a force in the corporate world. But like so many other women, she has faced many challenges climbing the corporate ladder and having to deal with and overcome being the only woman in a board room. From her early days as a graduate assistant research officer with the Bureau of Statistics, Jayne was determined to go as far as she possibly could in her career. It was the start of an ambitious journey that has seen her take on senior management and executive positions within industry-leading organisations, as well as holding board positions in the public and private sector. She learned quickly though, that it was going to take more than talent and ambition to achieve her career goals. “I think the biggest challenge for me was feeling out of place. A classic case of ‘Imposter Syndrome’,” Jayne explained. “There were many occasions when I had a contribution to make in a meeting where I was simply overlooked, colleagues would speak over me or I would have my ideas completely dismissed.” Jayne believes that while there is always more that can be done to address these types of behaviours, she has seen significant change that has been driven by greater representation of women in senior positions, but also strong leadership from people who are open to a diversity of thinking.

“Wh relationship value the

“We are very fortunate at Greater Bank to have a quality chair in Wayne Russell. He recognises and values the board’s different skill sets and personalities and ensures that everyone has an opportunity to have their say,” Jayne said. “This leadership has made an enormous difference, not only to those around the table understanding their worth, but ultimately to the success of the organisation.” Today, Jayne enjoys imparting her years of knowledge and experience to many young, aspiring females looking to make a mark on the corporate world. “Whether it’s a formal mentor/ coaching relationship or just a chat over a coffee, I really value the opportunity to catch up with many people who ask for guidance. It’s tough out there and I know it can be enormously helpful to get those different perspectives.” And her key piece of advice? “I’ve seen too many people unhappy in their job or stay somewhere because it’s comfortable. I’ve also seen many instances where very capable women talk themselves out of applying for a job where they may meet nine of the 10 criteria, but still not believing that’s enough. They are not giving themselves enough credit and the business recruiting may be missing out on some seriously good talent,” she said. “If we are to be ambitious, we need to take risks and be prepared to fail at something. It’s important to understand that it’s OK to fail or have a career misstep. If we try something and it doesn’t work out, then you just try something else. Failure is not the end but simply how we learn. Some of the most successful businesses in the world are built on many, many failures.”

W

When I first met C a r l a Z a m p a tt i in person, I was working as a fashion editor in Sydney. I was styling A-list Australian celebrities and she was my absolute go-to when I was prepping my shoots. I always had the utmost confidence in what her showroom held for my perusal. I knew if I had Carla Zampatti for my shoots, everything would be OK. My clothing racks held prominent international luxury brands such as Giorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo and Chanel, and of course, proudly perched alongside those historical brands was Australia’s Carla Zampatti. Her designs were coveted as much by my clients as the other international fashion houses. I had been living abroad for a while, so upon my return I had to learn the lay of the land as far as the Australian fashion industry went. I returned to a country that was filled with talented designers I hadn't heard of, but Carla I was familiar with. When I was a little girl, my very stylish grandmother would wear her designs. I relied on her designs, the feel, the fabrication. Carla paid attention to what made a woman look and feel her best no matter what size or shape; a size 8 body would look equally as good as a fuller figure. Carla Zampatti was born in Lovero, Italy and her family arrived on Australian shores in 1950. A very different Australia in those times, Carla saw a need both in the women of Australia as well as a need to fulfil in herself around fashion and design and to impose some of her personality and culture on her collections. She would bring a fresh look to what Australian fashion was. Her touch on the fashion industry in this country continues to the present day.

Her collections, so innovative each and every time, could do no wrong, garnishing the attention of princesses and celebrities alike, as well as the average woman who would fall for her trap of creating impeccable pieces and tailoring that sculpted each and every body she dressed. Her success saw her empire grow quite dramatically as the consumer coveted her next collection and waited in anticipation for the next story Carla Zampatti would tell. I recall meeting Carla after one of her many highly anticipated and revered runway shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, when the event was held on the sparkling Sydney Harbour where we all sipped champagne and felt such pride in our designers. Sitting at a Zampatti show was reminiscent of my days sitting at London Fashion Week or New York Fashion Week. The anticipation of seeing the first look hit the runway as the lights came up was as electric as I recalled in the major cities of the world. That is what Carla Zampatti brought to the fashion industry: strength, confidence and quality. This paved the way for many other Australian designers to follow in her footsteps and be inspired to create collections that spoke to the world as hers did. A phenomenal legacy was created. From her very first photo shoot in front of the Sydney Opera House under construction in 1965, she put her brand in a conscious collaboration with Australian design, the ultimate in design, the Sydney Opera House. She perched herself right from the start at the top, at the place that drew the most amount of

52 |

Façon

attention for the brand and from this she was almost guaranteed success in her career. Her empire grew. In the ’80s as the fashion trend for the women’s ‘power suit’ grew all over the world, Carla Zampatti would be making her own powerful influence as she was voted Australian Business Woman of the Year. In 2015, Fashion Week saw her brand return to the iconic Sydney Opera House where it all began for her. She celebrated her 50th anniversary in front of the whole Australian fashion industry in a runway show that will go down in history. Carla Zampatti made an enormous impact on the culture and formation of an industry in Australia.

Design and art has always been the beginning, middle and end of everything I do When you meet Lisa McGuigan, immediately you see a woman who is confident, well-dressed in her favourite brand Ann Demeulemeester, a lover of all things art and fashion. This is where her success in the wine industry came from, what sets her aside from others, as well as inspiration from a young age from her mother Fay and her father, Hunter Valley and internationally acclaimed, winemaker, Brian McGuigan. “Design and art has always been the beginning, middle and end of everything I do,” she says. Her latest success story, Vamp By Lisa McGuigan, is her new wine venture, with a cellar door that opened its doors in 2020. As with the previous success of Tempus Two, which Lisa launched in 1997, the

wine industry experienced a shake-up. With its cool branding, look and design, Tempus Two still paid attention to the taste and quality of the wine. Vamp by Lisa McGuigan walks a similar path. “Every business decision I have ever made has included art and design,” Lisa says. “My business philosophy is built to ensure every detail and aspect of my business remains true to my vision and style. Our focus is on choosing the right people, packaging, staff uniforms, purchase order and design. Every single detail starts as personally hand-drawn design. I feel really lucky to be able to wake up every day and work on something that I love!”

WRITTEN BY LARA LUPISH PHOTOGRAPHY BY PAUL DEAR WRITTEN BY LARA LUPISH

The Façon team went to Lisa’s home in Waterloo, Sydney, for a photoshoot with her. As we entered her home, hanging on her walls were exquisite art pieces, and also dotted around her home are sculptures (you will see some done by her favourite artists in gardens surrounding her cellar door in the Hunter Valley). Learning about art initially at finishing school in Lausanne, Switzerland, she also used this inspiration as a catalyst in her early career. Lisa consciously connected with the likes of Rushcutters Bay Gallery to include her wines and reached out to a new audience, the fashion and art lovers, people who wanted to take part in art in a bottle. And from here her success grew. Lisa tells us on our shoot day for the magazine as she pours Dom Perignon in her favourite Riedel glasses of how champagne came to be. “Champagne was accidentally created by Dom Perignon who was a Benedictine monk who made a faux pas and put bubbles in the wine,” she says. “He turned an accident into one of the world’s most prestigious brands.” Lisa then tells us as we sip on the tiny little bubbles, that he was quoted as saying: “Come quickly, I am tasting the stars!” Her love of design and art is so obvious in her surroundings. I ask her how this influences her approach to winemaking. “First question I ask myself is, has anyone else done this lately?” she says. “And how good can I make it taste? If the answer is no to the first question and amazing to the second, then I go ahead and work on the creative side of it, getting working on one of my favourite things, packaging design.” As we finish our shoot day and scroll through the images on the photographer’s laptop, I ask Lisa a final question: What is Vamp By Lisa McGuigan’s philosophy? She smiles at me and responds with a cheeky smile: “My philosophy has always been in my head. It is still a work in progress as my vision is ever evolving, so it is: Intrigue, Elevate, Inspire, Stand Out.” You can visit Vamp by Lisa McGuigan Cellar Door, 2198 Broke Road, Pokolbin, NSW or visit the website at lisamcguiganwines.com

w

hat appears to be a simple fashion spread is actually a story of resilience and empowerment that changes our view of Newcastle as a masculine, dirty, industrial city. People talk about the birth of ‘Creative Newcastle’ as a new phenomenon but this city has always been the home of creativity and culture in art, dance, comedy, music and fashion. These dresses, from the collection of Newcastle Museum, were designed by Newcastle designer John Robinson. Together with his sister Beryl, he owned and operated The Boutique. John Robinson suffered from polio as a four-year-old child and was bedridden with the disease. His older sister Beryl gave him a peg and some scrap cloth to keep him occupied. He padded the peg and created an intricate costume for it. It led to a lifetime of the two siblings being bound in a creative enterprise where John created and Beryl promoted.

JOHN ROBINSON OF THE BOUTIQUE (DESIGNER): Evening Dress – Black and White Keyhole Dress.

Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia

Originally a pharmaceutical salesman, a catastrophic car accident in the 1950s resulted in the loss of his leg and led John to completely revaluate his life. He did not return to his old job as a drug representative, he ended his marriage and went to Newcastle Art School. In 1966, John obtained a Diploma (with Distinction) from the Stenning School of Fashion in Sydney. John and Beryl decided to open a clothes shop together, The Boutique on Hunter Street. John was going to be the manager, but he immediately became interested in clothes and started designing. The Boutique opened in 1960 and sold clothes made on the premises, closing shortly after the 1989 Newcastle earthquake.

The pale pink dress and jacket ensemble is a particular jewel of Newcastle Museum’s collection. Even the words to describe this confection are glamorous, they come from far away and long ago: a jewelled evening coat and matching dress of pale pink silk with a white French chiffon overlay featuring a rose pattern in corded French lace. The coat has a Medici collar and bell sleeves, the dress is Empire line, and both dress and coat are heavily embroidered with jewelled roses made of purple beads and pink and pearl sequins. The beading was done by a Russian woman who had worked for the Queen's dressmaker, with sequins and beads dyed by John. It was made hurriedly over three weeks in May/June 1967 to exhibit at the Waikato Winter Show in New Zealand in honour of the visit of Dame Pattie Menzies. It was later purchased by Margaret Bartlett, the wife of a Newcastle doctor, who wore it to the opening of the Sydney Opera House in 1973. The other Robinson dresses were worn by Robin MacDonald and her mother Margaret Bartlett, who were neighbours of John and treasured his work for more than 50 years.

Crystalbrook Collection, one of Australia’s leading sustainable hospitality companies has brought its unique touch to Australia’s seventh largest city. Newcastle’s newest fixture on the cityscape has now fully undergone its transformation from the iconic Roundhouse building that started life in the 1970s as the City Administration Centre. Kingsley features 130 contemporary rooms and suites, with urban, park and harbour views. Adorned in luxury, but with a focus on sustainability, this hotel offers something different to its visitors. I n an A u s t ral i an f i rs t , C r y s t al b ro o k Kingsley will have 100 per cent waste-free bathrooms, where all bathroom amenities are biodegradable or recyclable. All rooms and suites also come equipped with technology sweeteners, including tablet control centres to order in-room dining or a room tidy-up. The hotel’s environmental stance continues through to the crowning glory of the hotel, a rooftop restaurant and rooftop bar, named Roundhouse and Romberg’s, respectively. With panoramic views spanning across Civic Park, Newcastle CBD and out over Nobbys Lighthouse, glimpsing Stockton’s sand dunes and Port Stephens, both Roundhouse and Romberg’s promise stellar views for patrons to get a bird’s-eye view of the city. Jaw-dropping outlooks are not the only feature in Crystalbrook Kingsley’s arsenal – these venues feature a strong presence of wines from Australia’s oldest wine region, the Hunter Valley. Plus 80 per cent of the produce served is grown within a three-hour radius of the hotel.

Locals and visitors alike will be able to see this threaded through the interior design, which is a contemporary take on our mining history, and in our partnerships, our restaurant and bar concepts, and in our food and beverage offering.” He continued: “We want Novocastrians to feel welcome and thoroughly enjoy our iconic Roundhouse building. We feel privileged to be a part of the Newcastle community and look forward to getting to know the locals.” So, what are you waiting for? A

s you arrive at Restaurant Mason you enter a restaurant reminiscent of a bistro that could be anywhere in France. With its simple decor and the wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen, the restaurant offers a relaxed environment with a straightforward approach. Since opening in November 2011, Restaurant Mason has maintained its coveted position and received its first Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide Chef Hat, which the establishment has held for seven consecutive years. The restaurant proudly has chef Chris Thornton (The Ledbury, Notting Hill, London) curating its sumptuous dishes for its guests’ lunches and dinners. Greeted with what feels like familiarity, even if you're not a regular guest, by Antonnio, the Restaurant Mason experience begins and the passion for food, wine and superb service is obvious from the moment you enter. Located in Newcastle East, the restaurant sits amongst trendy little stores, barbers and yoga studios, sharing its presence with an eclectic bunch of neighbours and clients alike. You begin your lunch experience with friends and good wine from the Hunter Valley, teamed with beautiful seared scallops served with corn, tomato, consommé and puffed rice. Next indulge in grass-fed Manning Valley striploin, smoked beef cheek, snake beans, grilled onions and mustard sauce, and top it off with a light desert such as cassata semifreddo with lemon, sable and crème fraiche. Dinner can equally tantalise over three courses carefully put together by Chris using seasonal, local produce and accompanied by wine from a diverse wine list, grooming all areas of Australia’s superb wine-growing regions as well as from our neighbours in New Zealand. Restaurant Mason provides excellent fine dining and service in their relaxed yet sophisticated venue, with thoughtfulness by Chris and wife Ami to both the menu and how guests experience it.

BEAUTY Q In case you haven't heard, online beauty supply juggernaut Adore Beauty are now also taking the podcast world by storm. Their podcast Beauty IQ Uncensored, hosted by Joanna Fleming and Hannah Furst, was launched in 2019 and has quickly become a huge success. A “No topic is off-limit” approach to chatting about beauty and skincare makes for a refreshing insight into a fascinating industry that usually keeps its cards close to its chest. We were lucky enough to chat to hosts Joanna and Hannah, and ask them a few questions about the best ways to take care of your skin this winter. What are the main skin concerns you experience over the winter months? Joanna: I have rosacea, so the indoor heating, wind and fluctuation in temperature can sometimes mess with my skin and lead to a bit of a flare-up of redness and sensitivity. I also have normal to dry skin, and the dryness really peaks in the cooler months. Hannah: I have oily skin so my biggest concern in winter is lacklustre and dull skin. I love a healthy glow (faux of course), and I find winter kills my vibe and destroys my soul (mostly because I HATE cold weather) and this shows on my skin. What products do you recommend to address these issues? Joanna: For the dryness, I love leaving Aspect’s Probiotic Mask on overnight. It’s got heaps of botanical extracts, oils, antioxidants and hydrators to replenish dry skin. Managing a condition like rosacea is less influenced by products in many cases, and more by ongoing lifestyle factors.

Supporting my barrier is really important, so I usually employ a richer moisturiser in winter and mix in a facial oil, use my at-home LED device (I have three different ones – excessive, I know), and I regularly go to James Vivian in Toorak for Laser Genesis, which keeps my redness under control. Hannah: I love a good face tan – I mix my Tuscan Tan Tanning Drops with a hydrating serum in winter. Oh, and leaving Australia for winter, although that’s less practical right now ;)

What are your top skincare/beauty rules for winter? Joanna: 1. Listen to your skin – If the same skincare you always use isn’t cutting it and you feel tight and/or flaky, you may need to introduce some richer products or more hydrating/ moisturising ingredients to your routine. Don’t ignore the signs your skin is giving you. 2. Don’t ditch the SPF – It’s time for the narrative around sunscreen use to change. It’s not a summer necessity, it’s something that should be worn all year round. If the UV rating is above 3, you need to throw on your SPF. 3. Have a good lip balm – My lips always dry out in winter, so I like to have a good lip balm on hand at my desk, in my car, in my handbag etc. I love Lanolips 101 Ointment and Innisfree Green Tea Lip Sleeping Mask. Hannah: 1. SPF, always. It can be freezing cold, raining, and poof, then it’s sunny. Bloody Melbourne weather, am I right? So, never forget your SPF. 2. Fake it till you make it. I really hate looking at my sick-looking skin during winter, so I need to fake a summer holiday to get me through.

Façon Beauté In your opinion, what are the most common beauty mistakes women make during winter? Joanna: I know a hot shower sounds like a nice idea when it’s cold, but it can further dry out the skin, which may already be compromised by the climate, so avoid overly hot showers and cleanse with lukewarm water at the basin if you can. Hannah: I am guilty of being too cold to get out of bed to cleanse my face at night. Oops! Always, always, always cleanse before bed. What makeup or skincare trends do you see yourself following for winter this year? Joanna: I don’t really buy into skincare “trends” as such, but I am excited by some new products that I think will be great for dull winter skin this year, like Kora Organics Turmeric Glow Moisturiser and Murad Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial, which are hitting shelves soon. Hannah: I’m the same as Jo, I don’t really follow trends. I listen to my skin and create a routine centred around my specific concerns. Should people change their makeup/ skincare routine during the winter months? If yes, what kinds of products should we be swapping in and out? Joanna: It does depend on their skin type and concerns, but generally yes, some minor tweaks can be really beneficial in keeping dryness and dehydration at bay. If you use a lightweight, gel-based moisturiser in the summer, it might be worth adding a richer moisturiser to your winter skincare routine, and/or introducing a facial oil. It’s all about protecting your skin’s barrier, which is easily affected by the climate.

Hannah: I definitely go for a heavier moisturiser in winter, because my skin can feel tighter and more sensitive. I also tend to be well out of the sun during winter, so ramp up my retinol and AHAs! What exciting products are you loving at the moment that we should know about? Joanna: We have a segment on the podcast called PWDKWN (Product We Didn’t Know We Needed), so we have pretty extensive lists at all times of the things we’re trying. Lately I’ve been loving Bobbi Brown’s CrushedOil Infused Gloss. I have the shade In The Buff. I’ve also been loving Inika Radiant Glow Veil, Avene Thermal Spring Water, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze and Aspect’s new mineral makeup range. Hannah: I’m really loving the Skin Virtue skincare brand – it’s a new brand at Adore. I love trying new skincare – I’m like a kid in a candy store.
