WRITERS CLUB PRESENTS! WRITERS CLUB PRESENTS

Crossed By Caleb Hart

We parted just as we started

Who am I to try to control

Pardon me if I’m disheartened

Your life something I stole

I don’t know if I know you And I don’t know if I need to

No, the flame in your heart flickers still If they want to see you fall, they will But watch, hold your breath, be still

Great things on your horizon My influence near or gone I pray you continue on Your journey, your life LIVE IT Give it learn to forgive

As you stand erect in resolved humility Failure your unexpected necessity Speaking to myself, a strong possibility I hope so hard for you to grasp onto yours A future just ahead with open doors

I regret what I could not be Maybe the very thing you need Relieved it is not up to me Whether you fail or succeed I must release you from my dreams

Your Father calling speaking the truth The lies screaming in your head now soothe He whispers of who you are And shouts whose you are His hands are never far
