Create your own artsy & unique papers out of a variety of upcycled materials in the first class. You will craft your paper into a journal, stationery or other creation. All materials are provided, though you can bring dried flowers, glitter, a favorite essential oil, or other items to include in your paper.

Learn to capture natural scenes with the simple, sharp lines of pen and ink. Learn a technique to minimize the stress of inking, and allow your creativity to flow. You will draw natural scenes and subjects using reference photos or natural objects brought into the art studio.

As Jim will say, “Playing the game is always challenging, and rewarding too.” Teaching provides Jim the same amount of joy. “It’s always nice to help someone that is having problems, and it’s also great to start beginners on a proper path to get them headed in the right direction.” The Continuing Education department at CCBC has been fortunate enough and thanks Jim for teaching golf for 26 years to many individuals in Beaver County.

Time to get your dancing shoes on! This class is for beginner level social dancers who want to dance comfortable to a variety of music at parties, weddings, cruises and dance events. You’ll learn swing, cha-cha, rumba, salsa, waltz and fox trot. Students must register with a partner and use a separate registration form for each person. This non-credit course prepares eligible students for one of 3 Nursing or Health Professional Pre-Admission Exams at CCBC.: (HESI) - Health Education Systems Incorporated Admission Assessment, (NLN) - National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Exam, and (PSB) - Psychological Services Bureau Health Occupations Aptitude Exam. These standardized tests assess basic academic skills needed to succeed in a select health occupation program.
