COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF BEAVER COUNTY

ENVISION. INITIATE. ACHIEVE. Welcome to Community College of Beaver County! We are proud to offer a wide assortment of course offerings both in person and online to our community. Throughout this Summer 2021 catalog, you will see a variety of in-person courses that may peak your interest. We are grateful for your commitment to CCBC, and we look forward to seeing you on our campus. We will continue to implement the following safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for you our loyal students, staff, and instructors. • All students and instructors must utilize a mask or face covering upon entry and while in the building (this should be provided by the individual). If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided. • The number of students per class will be reduced to ensure safe distancing. • Space is limited; register early. • Tables and chairs in every classroom will be properly spaced to ensure social distancing. • Hand sanitizers and cleaning supplies will be provided in every classroom. • Each building will have a designated entrance and a separate exit along with markings for traffic flow patterns and reminders to stay six feet apart. We also have over 300 online courses through www.ed2go.com/ccbc/ that can begin anytime in the comfort of your own home. We are responsible for many aspects of customized training in our School of Industrial Technology and Continuing Education Department. It certainly takes a team of professionals to create, plan and execute successful and essential training programs for individuals, companies, and our community. Meet Diane Loverich leading the way...Diane spent seven years planning most of the classes in our catalogs until she stepped into her current position of assisting regional employers with their training needs. She has coordinated many of CCBC’s online, welding, and other certificate programs, always trying to ensure the best customer service experience possible for both students and employers. She is particularly excited for our department to get back to our core business of helping others carve that perfect career niche for themselves AND hopefully doing so in person! John S.
