His most recent publications are Diaspora and Media in Europe: Migration, Identity and Integration (Palgrave Macmillan) and the twin volumes: Re-Imagining the Other: Culture, Media, and Western-Muslim Intersections and Engaging the Other: Public Policy and Western-Muslim Intersections (Palgrave MacMillan). Recipient of the inaugural Robinson Prize for the critically acclaimed book Islamic Peril: Media and Global Violence (Black Rose). He has also published the extensively cited The Media of Diaspora (Routledge) and among his most widely read articles is “Clash of Ignorance” (Global Media Journal).
