Robert Nutting (Republican Party) is a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 66. He assumed office on December 7, 2022. His current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Nutting (Republican Party) is running for re-election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 66. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. He advanced from the Republican primary on June 11, 2024.

Nutting is a former Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 77 from 2008 to 2016. He also served in the chamber from 1999 to 2006.

Nutting served as the Speaker of the House from 2011-2012.[1] He served on the Oakland Town Council from 1977-1988.[2]

Nutting did not seek re-election to the Maine House of Representatives in 2016.

Biography

Robert Nutting lives in Oakland, Maine. Nutting earned a B.S. in 1970. His career experience includes working as a pharmacist. Nutting has been affiliated with the Oakland Town Council and the Lions Club.[3]

Elections for the Maine House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 10, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for party candidates wishing to run in this election was March 17, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the primary election was April 28, 2014, and the deadline for non-party candidates to run in the general election was June 2, 2014. The deadline for write-in candidates to run in the general election was September 22, 2014. Alan Tibbetts was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Nutting won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 78. Nutting ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and defeated Harry Hayes (Maine) (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[12][13]
