The Legislative Information Technology Committee is a joint committee of the Vermont State Legislature.

Per the Joint Rules of the Senate and House of Representatives, "Joint committees, consisting of members from each house, may be created by these joint rules, by statute, or by joint resolution."[1] In general, the Speaker of the House appoints members of the House to joint committees.[2] In the Senate, the Committee on Committees, which is made up of the Senate President, the President Pro Tempore, and one senator elected by the Senate, determines assignments for the year.[3]
