Karyl Armbruster (Democratic Party) was a member of the New Mexico Public Education Commission, representing District 4. Armbruster assumed office in 2015. Armbruster left office on December 31, 2020.

Armbruster (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the New Mexico Public Education Commission to represent District 4. Armbruster won in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Biography

Armbruster is an educator by trade, having taught at both the elementary and middle school levels. From 1970 to 1992, she taught special education in California. In 1992, she moved to New Mexico, and taught at Los Alamos Middle School from 1992 to 2009.[1]

Armbruster first won election to the commission on November 4, 2014. She was sworn into office in January 2015, replacing J. Tyson Parker. She was re-elected in 2016.[3][1]
