NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION: GOLDEN TIGER EXPERIENCE In partnership with campus offices, the program aims to provide a structured and holistic overview to the collegiate environment for both families and students. Therefore, new students and their families become aware of the educational opportunities and responsibilities in the classroom and through co-curricular activities.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a New Student Orientation Leader. The New Student Orientation Leader selection process starts in the Spring Semester.
New Student Orientation Leaders expectations:
Acquaint new Tuskegee University Golden Tiger students to the academic and co-corricular services and programs that are vital to complete a successful transition to the campus community.
Expose students to key services and opportunities that are available to them.
Enable students to make well informed choices and decisions during the first year of college entry.
Qualifications and Requirements:
2.75 GPA
Good Academic Standing
No Judiciary Issues
Must have completed at least 2 semesters at Tuskegee University by New Student Orientation Week.
