Wycliffe - Chuck & Barb Micheals

This is the home of the Micheals' Memoirs ministry newsletters of Chuck and Barb Micheals which details their work with Wycliffe Bible Translators. When they started posting newsletters on this site, all the newsletter posts were readable on their free ISSUU account. They began their work with Wycliffe in 1985 in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and served there with the internationally renown Summer Institute of Linguistics. They finished their work in PNG in 2000 and began work at the Wycliffe North Central Regional Office in West Chicago, Illinois where Chuck served as the Director of Regional Recruitment for 7 Midwest states. Barb served with him in recruitment. In 2005 they moved to Orlando, Florida where Chuck served as the VP for Recruitment for Wycliffe. During the next 6 1/2 years Chuck oversaw Wycliffe's national recruitment efforts and over 1,200 new missionaries joined Wycliffe. For 10 years he then served as the Director for Wycliffe's Management and Professional Recruitment Department. He is now a Resource Care Coordinator with Wycliffe's Care Department providing care for Wycliffe missionaries spread around the world and Barb handles applications for Wycliffe's Volunteer and Internship program.
