A Biblical Evaluation of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization and movement by Nolan McFadden Let´s consider the organization and movement called Black Lives Matter (BLM). The BLM movement began in July of 2013 on social media with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter. This happened after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, an African American. BLM was founded by Patrisse Cullers, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi. In a 23 July, 2015 interview with Jared Ball of The Real News Network Patrissse Cullers stated, “Myself and Alicia in particular, are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists.” Cullors called for a new black liberation movement. (1) In addition, BLM has been associated with the leftist domestic terrorist organization called Weather Underground and with the Marxist organization Freedom Road Socialist which calls for the overthrow of capitalism. (2) Thus, Cullers has identified the founders of BLM as “trained Marxists” who are networking with other Marxist organizations. Likewise, in the 18 September 2020 article entitled Black Lives Matter Leader´s Group Linked to Chinese Communists, we discover that Alicia Garza is leading the Black Futures Lab which “works with Black people to transform our communities, building Black political power and changing the way that power operates – locally, statewide and nationally,” according to Fox News. But on the donation page, the group says it is a “fiscally sponsored project of the Chinese Progressive Association.” What is the Chinese Progressive Association? Per Heritage, it´s an insidious organization designed to promote sympathy for Beijing´s antiAmerican agenda among college students. According to an authoritative 2009 Stanford university paper tracing its early days to the present, and which can be found on Marxist.org, “The CPA began as a Leftist, pro-People´s Republic of China organization, promoting awareness of mainland China´s revolutionary thought and worker´s rights, and dedicated to self-determination, community control, and serving the people.´” (3) See also the article entitled Twelve Biblical Reasons Why We Reject the False Doctrines of Global Socialism at Institute of Biblical Discipleship.com/Christian Articles. While I already knew the three witches of Eastwick, er I mean founders of BLM were trained Marxists, I did NOT KNOW they also practiced voodoo!!!! Hamilton found a Zoom meeting that was posted by the Fowler Museum at UCLA on Facebook June 13, 2020. The museum hosted Cullors and Dr. Melina Abdullah as one event in their gay pride series. Abdullah is a professor of African studies at UCLA and the founder of

BLM's Los Angeles chapter. During the 54-minute meeting, Cullors and Abdullah openly discussed the power of the “spirituality” behind the BLM movement. Below are direct quotes from Cullors during zoom meeting: “Maybe I'm saying too much but we become very intimate with the spirits that we call on regularly. Each of them seems to have a different presence and personality. You know I laugh a lot with Wakisha and I didn't meet her in her body. I met her through this work.” “It's a very important practice. Hashtags are for us way more than a hashtag. It is literally almost resurrecting a spirit so they can work through us to get the work that we need to get done. I started to feel personally connected and responsible and accountable to them. Both from a deeply political place but also from a deeply spiritual place. And always you know and by tradition you offer things that your loved one who passed away would want. Whether it's like honey or tobacco things like that. And it's so important not just for us to be in direct relationship to our people who've passed but also for them to know we've remembered them. I believe so many of them work through us.” “Spirituality is at the center of black lives matter. And I think that's not just for us, I feel like so many leaders and so many organizers are deeply engaged in a pretty important spiritual practice. I don't think I could do this work without that.” Below are direct quotes from Abdullah during zoom meeting: “When we come out into the streets and we pray, you know the first thing that we do when we hear of a murder is we come out. We pray. We pour libation. We build with the community where the person's life was stolen. And it took almost a year for me to realize that this movement is much more than a racial and social justice movement at its core it's a spiritual movement. Because we're literally standing on spilled blood.” “When we say the names. So, we speak their names. We say, say her name. Say their names. We do that all the time that you kind of invoke that spirit and then those spirits actually become present with you.” Remember how I mentioned Abdullah was a professor of African Studies? Well little Miss Get-in-touch-with-her-ancestors was REALLY studying the Yoruba religion of Ifa from Nigeria and Western Africa. According to a 2017 Vice article, “Today, the Yoruba has many names and variations. In Brazil, it is called Candomblé. In Trinidad and Tobago, they call it Obeah. In Haiti, it is known as Vodun. In the American South, it is Voodoo. And in Cuba and Mexico and Afro Latino communities in North America, it is referred to as Santeria or Regla De Ocha.” In other words, these…[deceived souls] are summoning the spirits of the dead in order to empower themselves with the ability to do what they're calling social justice work!...” (4) Whereas, we are reminded that the LORD God of Israel commanded His people in Deuteronomy 18:9-14, “When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abomination of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations

which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.” It is becoming increasingly apparent that the BLM organization is more than an organized Marxist front group and paid, pre-planned crisis creator in the USA. It is also an occult, demonic deception and snare / attack on the souls and minds of the people of our nation. As Christians, we are taught by God to love all people of all ethnic groups (Matthew 22, Luke 6). We wholeheartedly believe that black lives and souls matter to us and to our Lord Jesus. In fact, as biblical Christians, we believe that all lives and souls matter to us and to our LORD. We reject racism and racial prejudice in all of its forms (Acts 10:34-35, James 2:1-9, Revelation 5:9-10). We reject racism against blacks, racism against whites and racism against hispanics. We also reject ethnic supremacy movements. We reject black supremacy, white supremacy, hispanic supremacy, Catholic supremacy and Islamic supremacy movements. In fact, as true Christians, we affirm only Jesus supremacy. We proclaim that only Jesus is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10). We believe that Jesus is our King of kings, Lord of lords and the only, true Potentate (1 Timothy 6:15). In all things only Jesus is to have the [singular] preeminence (Colossians 1:18). We affirm that we can advance biblical peace, justice and unity without joining or supporting the Black Lives Matter organization and movement which was founded by trained Marxists. We can oppose police brutality and mistreatment of black people without joining a Marxist led organization and movement. BLM appears to be a black racist, anti-capitalist and anti-white movement. Leftist revolutionaries within the BLM movement are attempting to incite racial division, racial conflict and racial violence while at the same time advancing revolutionary socialism and the social[ist] justice movement. Moreover, BLM opposes the biblical, Christian family unit. Until dropped on 21 September, 2020, the What We Believe page on the official BLM website included the following statement: "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and 'villages' that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable." This is a leftist definition of a family to which both communists and lesbians would approve. (5) Throughout the summer of 2020, BLM led protests became riots and have included many acts of violence and arson carried out by left-wing rage mobs against many people (frequently targeting supporters of President Trump) and properties. The forces of Satan have been unleashed on our country. This is truly a spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of Americans (Ephesians 6:10-18, Revelation 9:20-21). Whereas, in clear contrast to the occult, Marxist led agenda of BLM, Jesus proclaimed, Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9) Likewise, In Hebrews 12:14 Christians are taught to Follow [Pursue] peace with all men,... In addition, the apostle Paul instructs true Christians: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the [sound] doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan

under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. (Romans 16:17-20) Another issue which needs to be addressed is the action of bowing the knee to honor the dead victims of police brutality at the BLM events and protests. First, it is disobedience to the Scriptures to pray for the dead or to communicate with the spirits of the dead (i.e., necromancy). See Deuteronomy 18:9-14 and 2 Corinthians 11:1-15. If the people are dead, it is too late to pray for them. Second, as true Christians, we bow our knees in worship to only one Lord, Savior and King - Jesus (Philippians 2:9-11). We do not practice West African spiritism or animism. We do not bow our knees to the occult, Marxist BLM movement or in calling on the names of the spirits of the dead (i.e., “say his name”) as is practiced at BLM events. Third, as genuine Christians, our supreme love and allegiance is first to Jesus above all other people and all else in our lives (Matthew 4:10; 10:37-39; 22:36-38). Consequently, as Bible believing and Bible obeying Christians, we choose to separate ourselves from the occult, Marxist-led BLM organization and movement. Keep in mind that many Christians do not yet understand the profound differences between biblical Christianity and global socialism. International socialism is truly a satanic ideology. See the study chart entitled Global Socialism vs. Biblical Christianity at Institute of Biblical Discipleship.com/Christian Articles. We love the USA and do not want it to fall to the Marxists / Socialists / Communists / Progressives / Globalists / worshippers of the fallen angel Lucifer. Most Christians in the USA have never lived in a nation which is fully under the control of totalitarian socialists/communists such as China, Cuba or Venezuela. Let us pray that the USA does not become a socialist State under the authority of the world State. Let us pray that the USA will be a sheep nation rather than a goat nation in the last days (Matthew 25:31-46). Let us continue to pray for the USA and for the salvation of lost souls in America. May we continue to be a voice of biblical truth in an age of deception (Matthew 24:4-14). May God abundantly bless you as you continue to serve our Lord Jesus and proclaim His Word of truth.
