Namal Education Foundation

Namal Education Foundation (NEF) is the sponsoring body of Namal Institute, Mianwali, and endeavors to provide talented youth of Pakistan with access to higher education and opportunities to secure their dreams. NEF raises funds to finance both operational and capital expenditures of the institute to ensure the provision of quality academic services in an ideal study environment. Since its inception, NEF has disbursed more than Rs. 2 billion for scholarships of bright and needy students including boarding and lodging. Namal Institute was founded in 2008 by Mr. Imran Khan who sought to empower the rural youth of Pakistan. Currently, 97% of the students at Namal are on financial aid. These students come from 71 districts of Pakistan. By the year 2027 Namal aims to establish one of the largest educational consortiums in the world which will be known as Namal Knowledge City. Currently, Namal Institute is offering four programs namely BS Computer Sciences, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Mathematics, and BBA.
