versatile strip mosaics in popular pastels The London range of concave finger mosaics is one of National Tiles’ most versatile collections. These timeless 20x145mm porcelain strips which come pre-mounted on 296x298mm sheets for ease of application - work equally well on flat or curved surfaces. This makes London the go-to tile for snail showers, arched doorways, feature splashbacks, outdoor kitchens, sinuous bar fronts, or tile-clad islands. London’s delicate colour palette is just as versatile. The six well-chosen neutral shades - white, two shades of blue, two shades of green, and pink - reflect the current popularity of deep pastels. White is a sophisticated off-white cotton tone. The two blues are Sky, a pale and pleasing light blue; and Sapphire, a strong, sophisticated steely shade. The two greens are Sage, soft and subtle; and Olive, a darker green that is rich yet very liveable. The final option is Pink, a dusky, mellow apricot pink that is set to be one of today’s top interior influences. The design’s subtle 3D form, with a gentle indented curve running the length of each piece, emphasises the linear nature of the London range. The tiles can be oriented vertically or horizontally. Use a contrasting grout colour, such as crisp white or bold black, to emphasise the tiles’ linear form, or select a complementary or matching grout colour for a more homogeneous effect. The rich, solid nature of all six colours, coupled with the pressed edges, gives the London collection a deep materiality, and an unexpectedly bold design presence.

porcelain mosaic installation guide GENERAL Dry lay your mosaic tiles prior to installation. Any quality issues should be brought to our attention prior to fixing. Delivered product may vary from showroom samples, fixing of the product constitutes as acceptance of the product. Please refer to National Tiles customer care instructions. CUTTING • Cut mosaics with a wet saw using a diamond blade. Cut mosaics slowly using multiple passes, increasing the depth with each pass. INSTALL AND GROUTING • Apply a premium grade thin-set mortar using a 4 mm V-notch trowel for small mosaics or 6 mm Square-notch trowel for large mosaics. • Set tiles, apply pressure or tap the surfaces with a rubber grout float to ensure all tiles are bonded and aligned properly. Use a level periodically to check the grout joints. • Mix and apply grout. For mosaic tiles with a metallic glaze finish use unsanded grout to prevent surface abrasion. • Clean all excess grout immediately with a damp sponge. • After 12 hours polish any remaining grout haze with a clean dry cloth. CLEANING AND MAINTAINING MOSAICS • Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. • Use of All-purpose cleaner is recommended and safe to use on your mosaics.
