With Salt Stone, Provenza celebrates salt, a mineral of fundamental importance for our planet, by transferring the elegant, sophisticated appearance of rock salt into a collection of Porcelain Stoneware surfaces with a strong personality and an irresistible yet subtle beauty.

Based on vast, in-depth investigation of the naturally occurring types of rock salt, Salt Stone was fine tuned and engineered by the Provenza R&D department, with a particular focus on its overlapped, stratified graphic patterning and reflected colours.

With mottling, stratification and short veins, Salt Stone’s aesthetic interprets the rich, vibrant character of natural rock salt slabs.

However, it does so with discretion, using a delicate, refined colour range running from neutral shades to hues such as pink or green.The result is a versatile product able to interpret a variety of lifestyles and adapt to different applicational demands.

And also to translate the timeless beauty of a strong, vital element into the technical and aesthetic excellence of Provenza porcelain stoneware.

The collection is available in 2 thicknesses and 5 sizes, together with the three-dimensional Modula decor to complete and enhance the range. Created as a realistic interpretation of the “split” effect of blocks of rock salt set into a wall, Modula adds depth of substance and volume to panels and walls.

Iniziata con una ricerca vasta e profonda delle tipologie delle lastre saline presenti in natura, Salt Stone è stata perfezionata e ingegnerizzata nel reparto R&D Provenza, con una particolare attenzione alle sovrapposizioni delle stratificazioni grafiche e riflessioni cromatiche.

Caratterizzata da nuvolature, stratificazioni e brevi venature l’estetica di Salt Stone interpreta il carattere ricco e vivo delle lastre saline naturali.

Lo fa però in modo discreto, su una palette cromatica delicata e raffinata, che va dai toni neutri a nuance come il rosa o il verde. Il risultato è un prodotto versatile in grado di interpretare differenti stili abitativi e capace di adattarsi alle diverse esigenze applicative.

La collezione si sviluppa in 2 spessori e 5 formati ai quali si aggiunge, per completare e arricchire la gamma, il decoro tridimensionale Modula. Nato come interpretazione realistica dell’effetto “spaccato” di blocchi salini incastonati a parete, Modula aggiunge volume e profondità materica a quinte e pareti.
