Nate Boyle has played for 5 different colleges in 5 years. “I was a late bloomer in the sport and was not highly recruited out of high school, but I really hit my stride in college by taking the junior college route” Boyle said. “The juco route is a program designed to help high school athletes extend their baseball careers into college.” Boyle has played in Ohio, Illinois, Mississippi, Virginia, Tennessee and now North Dakota. “Of all the teams I have played for, my best memories come from playing for the Bull Moose and the Larks,” Boyle said. Boyle played for the Bismarck Bull Moose last year. He says he built a great relationship with Mitch [Gallagher] and Joey [Cooper], which led him back to Bismarck for another season. “I enjoyed my time in Bismarck last summer,” Boyle said. “I just couldn’t wait to get back out here to play this summer.” Boyle is currently 1-1 on the season with a 6.19 ERA. He’s collected 16 strikeouts in 16 innings as of July 27. HOMETOWN FARMERSVILLE, OHIO
