The full concept plan for The Berkley V. & Vincent M. Dawson Park project, as endorsed by the public and shared with City Council in December 2019, will be considered by the Historic and Design Review Commission (HDRC) for approval. This meeting is scheduled for May 20, 2020.

Additionally, the Parks and Recreation Department will be working this summer with Dunaway Associates on the following:

• Interim park site plan
• Tree planting plan
• Additional opportunities for public feedback
Our goal is to provide more details around the specific area where the Gazebo/Bandstand can be situated at the park site to maximize compatibility with the concept plan and protect view sheds of the Hays St. Bridge.

We are committed to ensuring this community green space is reflective of the priorities developed throughout the public input process and guidelines established by City Ordinance.
