JCU Halls of Residence About Us
The JCU Halls of Residence was formed on 1 January 2001 to centralise the management of the University's own residential Halls, University Hall, Western Hall and Rotary International House. From February 2002, the addition of 250 beds at George Roberts Hall established JCU Halls of Residence as one of the largest fully-catered University Halls in Australia.
In 2004, the accommodation offered by JCU Halls of Residence increased further with the addition of 80 beds at Rotary International House. Western Courts was established in early 2008 to offset the closure of Western Hall in late 2007.
During business hours, all general enquiries, account enquiries and payment enquiries may be directed to our Client Service Officers.
Client Service Officers act as liaisons between residents and departments both within the Halls and at JCU. Please let them know if you require assistance or if you need to contact any staff in our Catering, Housekeeping or Maintenance departments.
