First SEC Symposium to focus on renewable energy
Renewable energy experts from the Southeastern Conference's 14 universities, industry and government will gather in Atlanta Feb. 10-12 to address renewable energy topics at the inaugural SEC Symposium. The event is organized by the SEC and led by UGA and the UGA Bioenergy Systems Research Institute.

The Terry College of Business is sponsoring the fourth annual Diversity Business Expo Feb. 11 from 2-4 p.m. in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall. The event is open to current UGA students and will feature the UGA’s Top Talent Contest. The goal of the event is to provide freshman and sophomore students with professional development training and skills.
Men’s basketball team takes on Alabama
The men’s basketball team will take the court against the University of Alabama Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum. Tickets are $15, and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
King's Singers to perform in Hodgson Hall
The King's Singers, a British a cappella, two-time Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble, will perform Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. in Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center. The group performs across the globe in some of the world's most famous concert halls, including the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall and the Berlin Philharmonie. Tickets are $20-$39.
