I'm not surprised by the high quality of life outcome for the 9 Northeastern states. High education levels (and high test scores to boot!), low divorce rates making for stable home lives, low teenage pregnancy rates, and high incomes are the main reasons.

Thanks a lot for this site. I'm looking for reorder of states in natural resources (by production and availability) like gasoline, water, oil, fuel gas, ore etc. Few of them already there (Thank God), expecting other remaining.

Where are the teen suicide rates? More detailed information is needed in each particular state.

What is the percentage of teens who have a job and how does it affect their psychosocial development.

I am deeply outraged by the stats that have been presented. New Mexico is thankfully not the lowest on the list but it comes pretty close. I think your statistics are not truthfull and probably need to be re-evaluated.
