Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Bhartiya Janata Party wins the Chevella Lok Sabha seat with 172897 margin, securing total 809882 votes. Dr Gaddam Ranjith Reddy from Indian National Congress loses by securing 636985 votes.

Eatala Rajender from Bhartiya Janata Party wins the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat with 391475 margin, securing total 991042 votes. Patnam Suneetha Mahender Reddy from Indian National Congress loses by securing 599567 votes.

Minister of Culture and Tourism G. Kishan Reddy from Indian BJP wins the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat with 49944 margin, securing total 473012 votes. Danam Nagender from Indian National Congress loses by securing 423068 votes.

Godam Nagesh from BJP wins the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat with 90652 margin, securing total 568168 votes. Anthram Suguna from Indian National Congress loses by securing 477516 votes.

Kadiyam Kavya from Indian National Congress wins the Warangal Lok Sabha seat with 220339 margin, securing total 581294 votes. Aroori Ramesh from BJP loses by securing 360955 votes.

Asaduddin Owaisi from AIMIM wins the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat with 338087 margin, securing total 661981 votes. Madhavi Latha Kompella from Bhartiya Janata Party loses by securing 323894 votes.

Vamsi Krishna Gaddam, a candidate of Indian National Congress won the Peddapalle seat after securing 475587 votes.

Bharatiya Janata Party candidate G Kishan Reddy won the Secunderabad seat after securing 473012 votes. He defeated Danam Nagender of the Indian National Congress, Padma Rao T of Bharat Rashtra Samithi and Dr Baswanandam Dandepu of the Bahujan Samaj Party.

Arvind Dharmapuri, the candidate representing the Bharatiya Janata Party, emerged victorious in the Nizamabad constituency. He secured a total of 592,318 votes, which propelled him to victory.Dharmapuri's win showcased the support he garnered from the voters in Nizamabad. The electorate placed their trust in him and the BJP, leading to his success in the electoral contest.

Congress candidate Sriganesh was leading by 12,955 votes against his nearest BJP rival Vamsha Tilak T N at 4.35 PM as the counting of votes progressed on Tuesday in the bypoll to Secunderabad Cantonment constituency in Telangana.

Sriganesh secured 51,226 votes, while Vamsha Tilak got 38,271 votes. BRS candidate G Niveditha obtained 32,784 votes. The bypoll to the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency was necessitated due to the death of sitting BRS MLA G Lasya Nanditha in a road accident earlier this year.

Niveditha is the sister of Lasya Nanditha. Polling for the 17 Lok Sabha seats and the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly in Telangana was held on May 13 in a single phase.

BJP and Congress are leading in eight seats each. Whereas, AIMIM is ahead in one seat.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Bandi Sanjay Kumar is leading in Karimnagar.

The ruling Congress and BJP continued their lead in eight seats each out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana as per the trends at 1.30 pm on Tuesday. Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy was leading by 11,677 votes against his nearest Congress rival Danam Nagender after the completion of first round of counting of votes in Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday. While Kishan Reddy got 32,193 votes, Nagender secured 20,516 votes in the first round, official sources said. BJP National General Secretary and sitting MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar was leading in Karimnagar by 12,468 votes after the first round.

Exit polls on Saturday predicted a tight contest between Congress and the BJP in Telangana in the Lok Sabha polls with Bharat Rashtra Samithi suffering huge losses.According to exit poll results telecast by TV 9 Bharatvarash, BJP-led NDA is poised to win seven of the 17 Lok Sabha seats, the INDIA bloc would win eight seats and others two seatsIndia TV poll said that BJP-led NDA may get between 8-10 seats and the opposition bloc between 6-8 seats. It gave 0-2 seats to others.According to News18 India exit poll, the BJP is predicted to win 7-10 seats in the southern state, INDIA bloc 5-8 seats, BRS 2-5 seats and others 0-1 seats. The Congress is the main constituent of the INDIA bloc in Telangana.

Telangana recorded a voter turnout of 62% in the 2019 Parliamentary elections. Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Chevella recorded 49.63%, 46.5%, 44.84%, and 53.25% respectively.


The voter turnout in 2014 was 70.77% and 68.87% in 2009.

The Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) in 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Telangana had won 9 of the 17 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won four seats, Congress 3 and Asaduddin Owaisi was the only AIMIM candidate to emerge victorious from his Hyderabad constituency. In the 2023 assembly elections Congress won 64 seats, BRS won 39 seats, BJP 8 and AIMIM got 7 seats. CPI won 1 seat.

Former chief minister and BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao reiterated the party's dedication to Telangana and its citizens in the face of recent electoral failures, saying that the results would not change the party's goals. He declared that BRS would soon begin a new campaign with fresh tactics and objectives for Telangana.


"Results of elections may vary, but our responsibility remains to serve the people. In case you missed it, I have ceased using my walking stick and am now strong enough to start a new movement to defend the rights of Telangana people," he said on Sunday at Telangana Bhavan during the state's centenary celebrations. KCR wished people on the Telangana State Formation Day.

According to the exit polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress are both expected to secure between 7 to 9 seats each.


Based on the exit poll prediction by TV 9 Bharatvarash, the BJP-led NDA alliance is expected to secure victory in seven out of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana. The INDIA bloc, on the other hand, is projected to win eight seats, while the remaining two seats are likely to be claimed by other parties.


CNX's predictions suggest that the BJP-led NDA could bag between 8 to 10 seats, while the opposition bloc may secure between 6 to 8 seats. The pollster also forecasts that other parties might win up to two seats.


Simultaneously, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM), led by Asaduddin Owaisi, is predicted to hold its ground with a projection of securing between 0 to 1 seat.

Like earlier polls, Greater Hyderabad has stayed at the bottom of the table this time too with the four constituencies - Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri and Chevella - recording the lowest turnout in the state.


The Hyderabad parliamentary constituency saw the lowest turnout with just 5 percent of votes cast. Close by, Secunderabad had a turnout of 5.4 percent, while Malkajgiri and Chevella recorded 6.2 and 8.2 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Adilabad, Nalgonda, and Zahirabad constituencies witnessed the highest voter participation.

The Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are witnessing a three-way contest among the ruling Congress, opposition BRS, and BJP, with a total of 525 candidates in the fray.

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi is seeking re-election for a fifth consecutive term from Hyderabad. BJP has fielded K Madhavi Latha against Owaisi in Hyderabad.

Telangana recorded an approximate voter turnout of 61.54% on May 13 as polling was underway for 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state.


Polling which began at 7 am will end by 6 pm, barring at a few places where it will conclude two hours earlier.


The voter turnout was higher by three-four per cent compared to the polling percentage reported till around 1 pm in the last Legislative Assembly elections.


By 9am, the voter turnout was reported at 9.48 percent across 17 constituencies in Telangana, as per the Election Commission of India (ECI).
