Kangana Ranaut on Lok Sabha Election win: "I'm not leaving Mandi for Mumbai"

Amidst her resounding victory in Mandi in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Kangana Ranaut addressed comments made by rival candidate Vikramaditya Singh. She had implied that the actress would leave Mandi for Mumbai after the elections.

Talking to media, Kangana said, "They will have to suffer the consequences of talking so low about a woman... And that is becoming clear today with the way we have got the lead.Mandi has not taken kindly to the insults for daughters."
She further added, "As far as my departure to Mumbai is concerned, this (Himachal Pradesh) is my 'janmabhoomi' and I will continue to serve people here. I have always said that I will work as a soldier in PM Narendra Modi's goal of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.' So, I am not going anywhere. Perhaps, someone else will have to pack their bags and leave. I am not going anywhere."
Earlier today, Kangana offered prayers at her residence and shared pictures with her mother, captioning them, "Mother is the form of God, today my mother is feeding me curd and sugar.”
Recently, the actress took to her Instagram to thanked the people of Mandi and wrote, "समस्त मंडीवासियों का इस जनाधार, इस प्यार और विश्वास के लिए दिल से आभार ये जीत आप सभी की है, ये जीत है प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी और भाजपा पर विश्वास की, ये जीत है सनातन की, ये जीत है मंडी के सम्मान की।".

Actor Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana for her victory and Tweeted, "Dearest @KanganaTeam ! CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. Meanwhile, Kangana will next be seen in 'Emergency,' her first solo directorial film. The movie revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, with Kangana playing the titular role. The cast also includes Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade.
