ASSOCIATION D’ARTS VISUELS DU GRAND CHÂTEAUGUAY Presents L'art résilient December 3, 2021 to January 28, 2022 Vernissage: Friday, December 3 - 7 to 9 p.m. Medium: Mixed Life shakes us up with its changes, whether climatic, social, or biological. Each time you must adapt and reinvent yourself to maintain contact with this reality. For artists, this transformation involves the search for a new medium, a different technique, the exploration of shapes, colours and tones. Interpret this chaotic universe in order to master its beauty, modify it and manipulate it with the specific purpose of making us dream.

BATTEMENT By artist Tali Levesque Until March 13 Exhibition of sculptures by artist Tali Levesque, made from different varieties of Quebec stone, one of which comes from the old Maison Gravel. Inspired by both the strength and fragility of the wing, this body of work will thrill you with as much passion as the artist had in creating it.
NEW BOUTIQUE FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON Le Ti-Boutiyé The Maison LePailleur was built in 1792 with the objective of having a general store in the small North room of the Bouthillier family spaces. Until 1815, this house was a place of trade for everyday products and others more luxurious. In December, the Museum is proud to inaugurate its new boutique, which is an ideal place to acquire exceptional products stemming from local know-how, while discovering an important chapter in the history of our heritage site. Inspired by the stores of the 19th century, before the arrival of the catalogues of large retail stores, our boutique is great place to end your guided tour for a visit keepsake or to do your Christmas shopping!
SPRING BREAK WORKSHOPS ARE BACK ! From March 2 to 4, from 9:30 a.m. to noon $ $15 per workshop | $40 for the 3 workshops Materials included Registration opens the week of February 14 Details and online reservation at maisonlepailleur.ca In this series of know-how workshops, children are invited to explore artisan techniques to make original and utilitarian pieces. Embroidery, candle making and homemade cosmetics workshops are planned. They are a great way to immerse yourself in our ancestors’ way of life while having fun!
