As the school year comes to an end, I’d like to thank all the members who made themselves available to speak with local students this year; from the skills needed to enter the workforce to the career opportunities each of you offer to how to start your own business. As many of you know, we have worked for years to build better communications between education and business. We are working on several ideas to roll out for next year to improve upon what we have built, stay tuned for more.

Our Annual Golf Outing will be Thursday, June 13 at Shaker Run Golf Club. We are encouraging businesses to invite a client to town for a day on one of the most popular and challenging courses in southwest Ohio. A link to registration and list of sponsors can be found here. We thank the staff at Shaker Run and our sponsors for helping put on this signature event.

Enjoy Spring and Best in Profits -

Passport To T0morrow

Students in Mrs. Edwards' Passport to Tomorrow class at Central Academy were recently learning about the Business, Marketing and Management Career Field. In the fifth grade class, Eric Amburgey (pictured in red in the bottom right of the photo) went above and beyond for his assignment. He created the business "Fizzy Factory." Eric and his group project team members created applications for employment, employee shirts, hourly wages, investor ideas, a drive-thru layout and samples!
