SUSTAINABILITY ACTIVITIES OUR ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS GHG RENEWABLE ENERGY 2022 saw the completion of a £500k investment in 20,000 sqm of solar panelling on the Portbury DC site roof. This generates c.700kwh during daylight hours. Thanks to this initiative our operations are now self-sufficient for electricity in the UK.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT & LEADERSHIP We started to: Train our senior managers on Diversity and Inclusion Develop e-learning modules on Business Ethics and Sustainability to rollout to all our employees.

ELECTRIC / HYBRID VEHICLES & SUSTAINABLE MARITIME FUELS In 2022 an innovative trial was started by adding a fully electric vehicle to our delivery fleet. We have also been providing our sales force with electric and hybrid vehicles to visit our customers.

We started our community engagement and volunteering programme, selecting the local charities that we will be helping by providing donations, supporting charitable activities and campaigns, and providing skills and time from our workforce.

We have committed to ensuring that we design our products in line with the Circular Economy Principles – designing out waste and pollution, keeping materials in use, and regenerating nature.

In line with our commitment to responsible sourcing, we ask our suppliers to align with international standards, and with our principles. We are Sedex Members, which allows us to collect data on ethical & responsible practices across our business and supply chain, run risk assessments, and run ethical audits.

In line with this objective, we have started the training programme on the Circular Economy, completed the first workshops with all our designers and category managers, and identified first opportunities to apply the circular economy principles.

We are collaborating with our suppliers to provide us solely with Chain of Custody certified wood.

For a clean, clutter-free look opt for a wall hung WC which being lifted off the floor gives the illusion of more space in a smaller bathroom. If considering a wall hung WC you will also need to purchase a suitable WC frame to support it. See pages 78-79.

With a simple wave of the hand, hygienic, contactless flushing is now here for close coupled WCs. Two sizes are available depending on the size of the flush button hole in the cistern lid. CISTERNS, FRAME & FLUSHING

The button kits have been designed to retro-fit to existing WCs which have paddle operated flush valves. For cisterns which have pneumatic or cable operated flush valves, or where the button screws in directly to the flush valve, then the flush valve will also need to be swapped to our TR9033 valve which has a 2” base.

GUARANTEES Many of our products carry lengthy guarantees. Our furniture, showers and taps carry 10 year guarantees whilst our seats either have a 2 or 10 year guarantee. Our lighting offers 3 years for manufacturing defects and 2 years on consumables like the bulbs and switches. Please see individual product sections for details. Guarantees are for domestic use only and are not transferable.

REPLACEMENT PARTS We carry extensive stocks of replacement parts and are normally able to dispatch spares within 24 hours. Damaged parts will be replaced with a spare part where possible, complete exchanges will only be made where it is not practical to do so. 171
