ACT Test Prep Preparation is the key to maximize your test score in order to maximize scholarships and attend the college of your choice. Each component of the test prep program focuses on essential skills students need, including the most modern and proven test-taking strategies. Review each section of the test while learning tips, mastering strategies, and reviewing the skills necessary to do well on each section. Shibori Indigo Dyeing Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique, which produces patterns on fabric. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of Shiboriinspired folding and binding techniques to create beautiful patterns with indigo dye on tea towels, shirts, or other fabric items. Gentle Yoga with Mat Learn yoga basics of proper alignment, lengthened spine, engaged limbs, while continuing to honor your body with a gentle, mindful practice. Classical Pilates Classical Pilates is the complete coordination of body, mind and spirit. Pilates is designed to give you suppleness, natural grace, strength and skill that would be unmistakably reflected in the way you walk, work and play. Introduction to Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation Is it time to recharge your entire body? Ayurveda translates as Life Wisdom and is the 5,000-year-old healing system from ancient India. Ayurveda looks at the whole person – mind, body and spirit and is a wellness based model for establishing and maintaining health and vitality. Adult CPR and AED This course is designed to train lay responders when to dial 911, how to give CPR to adults, children and infants, how to use an AED, an EPI pen and how to provide relief of choking. It will provide the responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. All materials included. Those successfully completing the course will receive CPR/AED completion card good for two years.
