I paint energy as it arises in real-time format.

I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado My exploration of art continued as a technical illustrator, cartographer, substitute art teacher, providing tee shirts for a Celtic rock band and participating in art shows and galleries. My current adventures in creating arose from the need to form a bridge between living on Earth and a deep connection with the Universe from a child and adult near death experience. Highlights are having a creation presented to HH Dalai Lama, the Heart sons of Penor Rinpoche of Nyingma lineage, being asked for a painting by a Tulku and a Rinpoche and asked to paint a thangka of a previous incarnation by a Tulku. My passion is to expand consciousness using visual representation, in this context

Nature has always been my guide. From the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia where I currently live to the large lakes in upstate New York, each vast in different ways

Early years on the water, in the elements, were instrumental in the way I created from a young age to the present Along with vast spaces the action of wind, water, snow, ice and heat, energy and forces, impacted my art. More recently a desire to describe subtle flow in the Universe and on earth has brought me to my current explorations. Painting focuses and translates what I feel. The challenge to use 2D tools to quantify the vast, changing Universe appeals to me. My desire to unify and expand works with the flow toward Oneness.

checking the Universe as I often do, I felt intense energy of change coming down to Earth. I was aware that life as I'd known it was shifting. To understand the coming shift I decided to paint it.

UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE

Paintings 1-33 each began when I sat on my back porch at night and looked into the night sky asking what new energy was on its way to Earth right now. Using a candle for illumination I put colors on a canvas, unable to see colors or shapes because of the dim light.

DISSOLUTION

The next morning I completed the painting by feeling and hearing what was needed to finish the image. This is a very uncomfortable way to paint. As a trained artist I had to constantly remove any thoughts about composition, design and color in order to step aside and allow a message to appear.

CYCLES

At that time I didn’t get visual impressions but heard directions saying what colors and shapes to apply to the canvas while I was painting. Therefore I might be prompted to use deep blue for an area and then hear that white lines were to be put on top.

PLASMA

With oil paints it meant that I had to remove the blue paint before white lines could be added. It is a frustrating way to paint. All 33 paintings were created in this manner.

MALLEABLE ENERGIES

In contrast the 7 Guardian paintings began with a flood of energy, each with a particular sense that was crafted into form through synchronicity and comparison.

DEVOTIONAL ENERGY

I held the initial energy, entered into it and translated by becoming the energy (to some extent). The Guardian energies are quite powerful.

ANGELIC ENERGY

I had to make sure that I took small glimpses to avoid overwhelm Creating this way left me jittery or tired from looking into the vastness of each expression and doing my best to translate it.

The colors are bright and intense to signify the pure light of a higher and faster vibration

The interactions were like overlapping ripples increasing in complexity.

Each painting is a frozen moment in space that allows an aspect of the vastness of an image to be portrayed. To reconstitute the cosmology each image would move, interacting within itself and outside of itself and with other exterior influences creating variables that continue to exist in space.

I look at the cosmology as a system for meditation revealing more through personal interaction. As with all things balance and moderation are important.
