EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Miry's List is changing the experience for resettling refugees in the United States. We fill a vital gap in the refugee resettlement system in America. So far, more than 400 resettling refugee families have benefitting from our programming since our founding in 2016. The people involved in Miry's List are deeply passionate, we have a notable history, and there has never been a more important time to give - the well being of our families impacts the community at large.
FAMILIES SERVED So far in 2020, Miry's List served 150 new arrival resettling families from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq and Iran, supporting 810 individual people, including 411 kids aged three to seventeen and 74 babies aged zero to two.
WISHLIST ACTIVITY So far in 2020, 2076 housewarming gifts were sent through our wishlists, totaling over $97,530.54 of gifts given stranger to stranger. Wishlist purchases have increased by 186% since 2019.
OUR HIVE So far in 2020, 8,476 people have shopped our family wishlists and 709 people donated money to help us build capacity and support our organization's growth. Our top donors states are CA, NY, TX, VA and IL.
NEW ARRIVAL SUPPER CLUB Food is love in action. In 2020, Miry's List successfully shifted our New Arrival Supper Club program to an at-home, curbside pickup experience. So far in 2020, we've served 907 meals, paid over $28,000 in wages to resettling chefs, and generated $15,723 in donations for Miry's List.
FAMILY ENROLLMENT SINCE FOUNDING Miry's List has continued to grow the number of families we serve since our founding in 2016, despite resettlement numbers in the United States decreasing. 90% of our new families are referred by word-of-mouth.

OUR NEXT CHALLENGE The Problem: Family needs are compounded because of the pandemic. Our program is growing by 10 families per week, but we only have the capacity to assist 12 families per month. We currently have 75 families awaiting their personalized Wishlist. In order to accept all of the families who apply to Miry's List and to help them settle into their new lives in the U.S., we are asking you to consider a one-time or monthly donation. America needs more Miry's List in the coming years.
