My name is Alisha Grace, get to Know Me. I’m a high school teacher by day and a sewist by night. I learned how to sew out of desperation with clothing not fitting my 6’2” frame! Since graduating from the Fashion Design Program at LATTC in 2014, I have worked in both the US and Australian fashion industries. When I’m not sewing or teaching, I enjoy hiking with my husband, cuddling with my dog Luke, and spending time with family. I’m excited to be a part of the KnowMe by Mimi G team of designers and can’t wait to see what you make!

My name is Erica Bunker, get to Know Me. I am the editor of Erica Bunker DIY Style, a fashion and sewing blog established in 2005. I love inspiring others who enjoy creating their own home-sewn wardrobes, by demonstrating how I pull inspiration from luxury brands to create beautifully tailored, designer-quality, garments with couture details and a contemporary twist. My personal style is represented by bridging the gap of classic designs and a modern edge. My mantra has always been: “Why buy it when you can make it!”
My name is Donny Hoang, get to Know Me. I started sewing in 2016 to learn how to make small alterations, but I quickly fell in love with making my own clothes. I started sharing my outfits on social media to document the things I make and show how I like to style them. I love being able to express myself through clothing and I’m so glad to have the opportunity to share my designs.”
