I
have always dreamed of having a big red barn, mostly at Christmas time. In my mind, there would be a foot of pure, white snow on the ground and a
giant, green wreath on the sliding barn door. While I probably won’t ever get that barn, I can still dream about it, right? That big red barn is the inspiration behind this collection. We love using traditional Christmas colors to decorate, and this collection blends perfectly with our previous Christmas lines. Our favorite part of the line is the block yardage and the new Printworks panels. You can mix and match the yardage and panels with the prints for endless possibilities.

tarflower Christmas will take you on a journey into my favorite bits of the holiday season! Poinsettias are the focal point of this fabric
collection because I love what they represent. Known as the Christmas Star, poinsettias are December’s birth flower, and they symbolize good cheer, success, merriment and celebration! To compliment these striking blooms, there are cheerful berries and holiday greens, atmospheric icy skies, magical snowflake flurries and pines standing tall on the mountainside as a signal of strength against the storm. All of these designs are in a lovely modern color palette, perfect to add extra cheer this year! The star of the show is my Joy To The World panel which speaks the most important message I can share with you at Christmastime. I hope we can feel the Joy of the season, with the help of my fabric line Starflower Christmas, for Moda Fabrics.

ne of the things I love most about living in New England is the change of seasons. Even as the chill of winter settles in, there are so many things to look forward to; the clear
night sky with twinkling stars, the muffled sound of snow falling, and the peaceful quiet of a sleeping earth. At this darker time of year, we light up our indoor spaces with string lights and candles and the warm glow from our fireplace. I designed Felicity batiks to bring some sparkle to the season with glittery golds, pine greens, ribbon reds, snowy greys and a midnight black embellished with shining stars. Motifs of trees, snowflakes, ornaments, poinsettias and diamonds are ready for your festive arrangements and creativity. andering through a pumpkin patch and hiding in a corn maze are among my favorite childhood memories. It’s something I’ve shared with my children, when they were young, and when I can
still get them to go with me. I love everything about the adventure of all those pumpkins still on the vine with huge leaves hiding the littlest ones. Pumpkins & Blossoms is my vision of a perfect autumn day, walking through a “not quite ready yet” field of pumpkins. In my mind’s eye, the pumpkins mix with bright green leaves and light green tendrils. The pumpkin blossoms vine their way up trellises, a bit like they do in Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s a fairytale made real with a mix of cream, orange, green and gray… my most magical pumpkin afternoon!
