Recognized for creating homes of classic simplicity and enduring beauty, Turkel Design is devoted to clean lines and the beauty of natural materials. Comprised of former faculty and graduates of the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Turkel Design is a small, approachable residential design practice based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with clients throughout North America and abroad. The TD3 series of homes, featured here were honored by Time Magazine as the only commercially available homes to be included in Green Design 100, a compendium of the world’s best environmentally-conscious design. In addition to the standard TD3 designs, this plan library includes some of Turkel Design’s favorite custom designed homes and modified standard designs. These homes respond to contemporary expectations with stylish and efficient space and the intelligent interpretation of volume and light.
