EDITOR'S LETTER Hello from London Runway HQ where we're celebrating an incredibly cool milestone! It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the milestone of having achieved one million all-time digital reads (probably because it wasn't very long ago at all!).
But, thanks to the strong and dedicated efforts of our team as well as our growth in working with various collaborators and shows, we've already reached the incredible milestone of seven million all-time views. 7 million!!
Some of you are now subscribers who are along with us for every step of the journey, and to you I say - we can't thank you enough. Knowing we have your support to count on for a full year or beyond makes all the difference.

Now - onto a preview of this issue! The Fantasy Issue was a tall order for our contributors, but I have to say they've smashed it out of the park. From cosplay to fantasy characters, and from straight portraits through to digital manipulations and even AI fashion, we have it all here for you this month. Don't forget to check out our catwalk show galleries, too! We return once again to House of iKons and we're also in attendance at Fashion Scout, Paul Costelloe, and Di Petsa from London Fashion Week.

When it comes to submissions, there's only one place that we currenlty take them - on Kavyar! This service allows you to connect with a ton of different magazines from around the world, so it's definitely recommended to set up a profile if you are a model, photographer, fashion designer, or makeup artist. You can find us by heading to kavyar.com/london-runwaymagazine, or search our name once you get onto the website.
Every month, we have a number of categories open for submission:
The Theme of the Month. This is for the issue we're currently working on, changing every month once all the pages are filled - you can see the example of 'The Fantasy Issue' (the one you're reading!) below. New Faces. This category is for models wanting their interview to be featured in our New Faces pages; we feature four or more models every month. New Business. Featured once a month, this showcases an interview with an up and coming brand owner.
Social Media. This also changes each month, with a new category every time to allow you to submit your images to us for use on our Instagram. There are lots of options when submitting, beyond just choosing your category. It's completely free to make a standard submission in all categories (although we do close the monthly theme's free submission option once we're full on free slots). You could also upgrade your submission. Kavyar Pro members can get their submission seen in less than 48 hours by upgrading to a priority submission, for free, while standard members pay a very low fee for the same. You can pay to get a critique directly from our editor, allowing you to understand how you can improve your work (and the art of submitting) in the future. There are also options for those who want to push their images further. Our front and back covers are both for sale, and we do usually sell them, so the chances of getting them for free are very slim! Any new face or monthly themed submission can choose to upgrade to that option easily. And as before, Kavyar Pro members get a discount on all of these options. If you want to contact us directly for advertising, you can also check out our media kit!

In a world where you’re made to feel like your only purpose now is to be a mom, the art of modeling allows you to have an outlet to express yourself and feel like you’re not losing the parts of you that make you feel like an individual with wants and needs and desires. Your desire is to be expressive and have fun and you aspire to continue thriving in that energy, even being a helpful example to other women who love the world of modeling to hold onto their dreams no matter what society tells them.

NEW BUSINESS AURELIA Name of company: Aurelia Type of business: Fashion design brand Location: Greater London How long has the company been running? Aurelia's first performance was in December 2021 to showcase pieces from our first collection, Vortex//Mania. Performed at Rambert School student Platform with seven dancers. Where did the idea come from? Inspired by my training in professional dance I began exploring with fabrics and fashion design. It had always been something I experimented with but it wasn't until 2021 I began to pursue it as a career.
What are your company values? I describe Aurelia as the expression of perspective through artistic mediums, but foremost fashion design. Aurelia explores the blurred line where fashion and art collide. Inspired by the idea of parallels between masculinity and femininity to create new shapes celebrating the sculpture of all bodies. What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a business? Allow yourself the liberty of time and remember that everything starts small at first. Where do you hope the company will be in 5 years' time? We have a number of upcoming projects including events, conceptual works, and the development of a new collection.
