WELCOME

With work on our new Education Centre & Studio Theatre due to start this Summer, we continue to be blown away by the support and loyalty of you, our audiences. Thanks to you, we’ve got shows already near sell out such as Jive Talkin’, Barry Steele and Friends, Under The Boardwalk and Eddie Reader to name a few.

In this latest brochure, you will find information on a variety of shows including live comedy, outdoor summer theatre, cinemas, music, workshops and drive-in cinema.

Out in our gardens, not only are we continuing our free to enter outdoor festivals, but we are also launching The Tent, a community marquee which we’re asking local community

groups to get involved with. Over the coming months, we’ll be announcing more events happening in The Tent, but there will be something for everyone including book clubs, flower arranging and other entertainment.

We’d like to also say thank you to everyone who continues to support our theatre. Whether you’ve picked up this brochure, bought a ticket, made a donation or shared a post on our social media channelsevery interaction helps.

You can find out more about how you can support our ambitious redevelopment plans on pages 28 and 29.

SUPPORT US

OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Work has already begun on the first phase of our ambitious redevelopment campaign. This progress on our new 150seat Education Centre & Studio Theatre will allow us to continue to support the local community by doubling our programming of theatre, live events and training opportunities.

Over the next few months, you’ll start to see the shell of this new second venue take shape as construction begins.

THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who has already donated to the Lowther Pavilion - your support is incredibly important.

But we still need your help to ensure that our building and

gardens remain at the heart of the Fylde community as we continue working towards raising funds for our ambitious development campaign.

Find out more about how you can help either below or on the next page:

STAFF FUNDRAISERS

Throughout the year, you’ll be able to help support our theatre team as they take part in a variety of events and challenges to help raise money for our redevelopment campaign.

LOWTHER 500 CLUB

Join our Lowther 500 Club and for just £5 per month you will be entered into a prize draw and have the chance of winning big cash prizes. Half of the proceeds every month are returned to

28

winners and the remaining half goes towards our exciting transformational plans.

REMEMBER ME

Remember Me aims to celebrate all those we’ve loved and lost by turning the Lowther Gardens into a sea of blue for a few short weeks in the Spring every year. Bluebells can be purchased at £5 each and you can even choose to join our gardeners on one of our planting days or have them planted on your behalf.

BUY A SEAT

You can sponsor a seat for £200 with your name or company name on it, or you can buy one as a special gift for an important person or moment in your life, with inscriptions ranging from anonymous messages of support, to ‘in memoriam’ inscriptions for a loved one.

BAND OF NAMES

Cement your dedication to the Lowther Pavilion and become a Band of Names sponsor.

When built, the new facilities will enshrine ownership and commitment with a band of names etched into the fabric of the building. You can become one of those names for £1000.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Lowther Pavilion Theatre is an exciting, vibrant theatre and outdoor space. Be a part of the Lowther family and help deliver cultural activities for all the community.

The team of over 150 active volunteers are also a vital part of the theatre’s operation and have saved Lowther around £160,000 in the last twelve months by helping to support with events and being on the Box Office team.

If you become a volunteer not only can you be as active as you want, but you can rest easy knowing you’re helping to keep the theatre at the heart of the community.

We’re always looking for support with:

• Park events

• Front of house ushers

• Customer service

• Promotional material distribution

Opportunities are available days, evenings and weekends. Flexible hours to suit.

ABOUT THE FRIENDS

As a group, the Friends were formed to assist and help secure the future of the Lowther Pavilion Theatre as a permanent, successful and vibrant part of the Fylde community.

Since being founded in 2008, the Friends have raised and donated over £100,000 for the Lowther Pavilion Theatre. This includes renovating the theatre’s floor, the installation of a new hearing loop and even contributing to the costs of the theatre’s current bar.

By becoming a Friend of Lowther Pavilion, you’re helping to keep the theatre at the heart of the community.
