STATE PARK STICKERS WITH EACH VISIT Oklahoma has amazing state parks, and each park has a special collectible sticker for your passport. Stickers can be found in a clearly marked container outside of the state park offices. Every time you visit a park, collect a sticker and place it on the matching park page in your passport.

For every 6 unique State Park stickers you collect, you will earn a State Park token. Collect all the state park stickers to receive all 6 State Park tokens!

HOW TO COLLECT

Your Tokens

Once you’ve visited a total of 6 different state parks, and your Passport Booklet has the park stickers for each of these parks, show your Passport to a park manager, naturalist or park ranger.

At the back of your passport, pages 63 to 74, you will find 6 Record of Visits pages. The state park official will sign the corresponding Record of Visits page, confirming you have completed 6 visits.

Next, carefully remove the page and have a parent or adult fill in the rest of the information.

Or, complete at least 30 minutes of outdoor activities at a city park, like playing basketball, flying a kite or enjoying a playground.

At the back of your passport, pages 75 to 80, you’ll find 3 Fitness Medallion Application Forms, one for each medallion (bronze, silver and gold). Once you’ve completed the Daily Fitness Challenge 6 times (during 6 different days), have an adult fill out the appropriate Fitness Medallion Application form.

Congratulations! You’ve completed your 10 yoga positions, Part 1 of your Daily Fitness Challenge! NEXT As Part 2 of your Daily Fitness Challenge, take a 30-minute walk with a parent or adult. Nature paths and hiking trails are great places to walk in Oklahoma State Parks. In your neighborhood park, do your 30 minutes of walking on a jogging path or sidewalk. Also, encourage your parents or grandparents to walk with you at home for 30 minutes every day. Walking is a great way for everyone to stay in shape.

wildlife tracks White-Tailed Deer

Hoofprints are slender and pointed.

Raccoon

Track has five toes on front and hind feet.

Coyote

Tracks similar in size to a large dog; nails extend out from paws.

Opossum

Front and hind feet have a “big toe” that slants away from the other toes.

Bobcat

Track is more rounded than that of a coyote; claws do not extend from paw prints.

Search for Treasure You can go on a treasure hunt at some of the Oklahoma State Parks using geocaching, a game that uses GPS coordinates to reveal hidden containers with surprises in them. Just stop by the office of the state park you’re visiting to see if that park participates. Visit the Nature Centers Several state parks have nature centers where you can learn about the environment and the parks’ history. At some nature centers, you can even meet animal ambassadors, rescue animals that were unable to return to the wild.
