Concourse Companies, LLC was founded in 2015 by Harry Masterson and Jordan Mack as an operating and management platform for a portfolio of projects focused on land development and long-term project management. As the successor company to Cernus Development, LLC., Concourse was formed to accommodate the restructuring of project management, growth of senior management, and expansion of its fee development business. The senior management team, a core group of seasoned development professionals, have been working together since 2006. Concourse is currently managing land development and community operations of two large-scale projects totaling over 1,000 acres. The projects have combined development budgets of approximately $155,000,000 and will yield roughly 1,700 residential lots and 90 mixed-use acres for commercial use over the next 7-8 years. In 2016 bond sales totaled over $11,700,000.

Our team creates projects that elevate the expectations of the market while operating as an innovative and noble steward of the investments and environments we manage.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Concourse team has extensive experience in land assembly, community design, marketing and residential development processes as founding partners, managing members and directors of various real estate companies. In 2015, Concourse added Steve Tennis as VP of Development and Jonathan Schumann as Acquisition and Development Manager. Mack, Masterson and Tennis have been working together as a team for over 10 years. In 2017 Concourse added Houston marketing veteran Jaime Virkus to the team, bringing 15 years of land development marketing experience to the Concourse team along with several years of homebuilder marketing and homeowners association knowledge.


EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

HARRY MASTERSON

Harry Masterson is a founding principal of Concourse Companies LLC, and manages the general operations, focusing on longterm objectives and plans, marketing and industry relations. A dedicated building industry leader for over 20 years, Harry has focused on large land transactions and land development. He has served as President on the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and is a recipient of the “GHBA Developer of the Year Award.” Harry’s leadership continues outside of the development industry where he has held advisory roles for multiple community and nonprofit organizations, including the Museum of Fine Arts, and Da Camera, both of Houston. Harry is the past Board Chairman of Scenic Houston, an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the visual character of the City of Houston.

JORDAN MACK

Jordan Mack is a founding principal of Concourse Companies LLC. He is responsible for Concourse Development’s acquisition and expansion activities and for advancing the asset and financial strategy for the Concourse Companies. Under Jordan’s operational and strategic leadership, his team of experienced real estate professionals execute the underwriting, entitlement, acquisition, development and sale of the Concourse project portfolio Jordan spearheads the development of Woodson’s Reserve, a premier community in north Houston, managing the complex partnership between the Concourse real estate development enterprise and substantial, publicly traded home builders. Most recently, Jordan led the revitalization of Woodridge Forest, transforming a once-failed investment into a vibrant residential community.


SENIOR LEADERSHIP

Steve Tennis is VP of Development for Concourse Development LLC. With over 35 years of experience in the Houston area, Steve specializes in concept creation, long-term artistic vision, and architectural controls and systems for long-term real estate community project design, planning and management. A remarkable career in land development brought Steve to the Concourse team in 2006. Prior to joining Concourse full-time in 2015, Tennis consulted with Concourse while serving as Director of Planning and Platting at LJA Engineering, Inc., overseeing a staff of 22 employees. From 1996 to 2007 Steve was VP of Land Development for Taylor Woodrow Houston where he was responsible for several significant projects, among them Avalon and Sugar Lakes in Sugar Land;

Avalon at Seven Meadows in Katy; and Mar Bella in League City. Additionally, he held over a decade of further experience in land development roles, including with the engineering firm of Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc. Steve continues civic participation in leadership roles; he served on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Parks Board for the City of Stafford, the Fort Bend County 911 and Land Design Committees of Sugar Land.

Jaime Virkus is Director of Marketing for Concourse Development LLC, bringing a long history of land development marketing experience as well as knowledge of homebuilder promotion and homeowners association management. Jaime joined Concourse in 2017 after marketing roles with leading homebuilders McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., Darling Homes and Gracepoint Homes. She began her career in residential real estate in 1997 with Johnson Development Corporation, where she served for 15 years in a variety of capacities, including marketing director for five Johnson communities — Sienna Plantation, Cross Creek Ranch, Tuscan Lakes, Imperial Sugar Land and Edgewater — and interim community manager for the Sienna Plantation Residential Association. These developments posted impressive sales gains during Jaime’s tenure, as she employed analytical and creative

techniques to expand market reach. Jaime is an active volunteer, serving on the Board of Directors for the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association since 2014 and a board member of Missouri City Management District #1. She is a past member of the Fort Bend County Junior Service League and has used her extensive event planning expertise to help coordinate various community fundraisers and chamber of commerce events.
