Chia Laguna Resort has launched a campaign to reduce its impact on the environment, support the local community and achieve Green Key Certification.
We promote an informed and responsible way of travelling, attentive to preserving natural habitats, reducing our carbon footprint, and supporting the well-being of our surrounding community. We have joined the relevant programs to achieve internationally recognized standards and certifications such as Green Key, the standard-bearer of excellence in sustainability within the hospitality sector, as well as the Clean the World program, a social enterprise with the mission to save millions of lives around the world by reducing waste by recycling bottled soap and accessories while helping to protect the environment and conserve natural resources.

▪ Zero KM policy of fresh bio food products sourced directly from the surrounding environment

▪ Annual events and activities supporting local are initiatives for under-privileged community members

▪ Team Member-led tree planting program and beach cleaning program

▪ Mandatory code of compliance for all suppliers and partners
▪ Lightstay Program – tracking and reporting of all energy consumption reduction
▪ Only sustainably cultivated products purchased including free range eggs
▪ Chemical concentrated cleaning products are used for cleaning daily through a dosing system
▪ Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems inspected twice per year and subject to maintenance, in order to ensure energy efficiency at all times
