Inspiring Learning for our Youngest Scholars
Our youngest Hopkins students are introduced to personalized learning in our early childhood programs, which use Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum even in our ECFE classrooms. This child-centered approach engages young minds to use their natural sense of discovery as a catalyst for learning. Hopkins ECFE supports children to thrive in creativity, confidence, and strong social relationships through play-based learning built around their interests.
Summer Sweets and StoryTime
If you have not yet been a part of ECFE, this event is for you! Enjoy outdoor play time, simple summer treats, storytime and take home a free book. Learn about ECFE classes. This event is for families with children 0-24 months. Families new to our programs encouraged to register.

ECFE registration is OPEN!
Registration for classes is ongoing. Families are encouraged to get on waitlists. Hopkins ECFE utilizes waitlists to create new classes and gauge the community’s needs for various programs.
New classes will be added frequently. This year we have both year-long classes and also shorter week sessions. Please continue to check our online registration listings.

Weekly ECFE Classes
Expand your child’s early learning, play experiences, and socialization as you connect with other families and parenting educators.
Caregiver & Child classes meet once or twice a week. Choose your class by your child’s age: Infant classes, 1-2’s, 2-3’s, 3-5’s, Multi-Age (1-5’s), or choose Multiples class for twins and triplets!

Early Childhood Screenings
Screenings are done between the ages of 3-5 and support school readiness. Early childhood screenings are an important way to check on how your child is progressing before starting kindergarten.
