LEADERSHIP
COLLABORATION IS KEY
Our professionals are dedicated to constant team collaboration and will seamlessly support and guide you throughout the preconstruction and building process. Our team cohesively works together to leverage knowledge and provide you with innovative ideas, customized project recommendations, and proactive solutions.
THE SKILLS TO GET THE JOB DONE
Our team has a varied background and each team member brings a unique set of skills to the project. You can be sure that you’ll be working with a team who are experts in their field and will provide the level of quality and skill you expect for your specific project requirements.
EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE OFFERS PREDICTABILITY
We are not asking you to take a leap of faith to see the success of your project. Our team has an extensive track-record of successful multi-family projects.
A HANDS-ON APPROACH
You will have direct access to our team members from contract to project completion. We will work closely with you to provide preconstruction support, offer value-engineering ideas, and explore cost-saving alternatives wherever possible.
PRECONSTRUCTION
At Brinkman Construction, we implement a proactive preconstruction process. The intent is to pull project alignment forward into the earliest stages of a project. This collaborative approach is centered on delivering clients with a collective alignment of their project vision grounded throughout design and construction.
SAFETY
We are proud of the safety-first culture we have fostered within our organization and the robust program we have developed. We are currently recognized by the Colorado Associated General Contractors Chapter and OSHA as being a Chase Blue participant, the highest safety designation in the industry. Our safety program focuses on four areas of emphasis: Training, Implementation, Inspection/ Enforcement, and Documentation.
VDC
Brinkman Construction’s Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) capabilities allow us to precisely reflect the vision of your project back to you as it evolves. This direct process of translating design information into model-based electronic plans in the field using iPads and Total Stations brings an unparalleled preconstruction-design-field integration to your project.
QA/QC
Quality control is a team approach and requires architects, engineers, builders, and owners to work together to align around the strategy. Our comprehensive QA/QC Program ensures we are all working collaboratively to create your project while utilizing the most up-to-date technology and tools available.
WARRANTY
Customer service and satisfaction continue to be a priority even after closeout. Brinkman has a Warranty Manager who attends the final Owner Training with your maintenance staff and from that point forward, is the point of contact for issues that arise. We understand warranty issues are an inconvenience and we make every effort to minimize their impact on your daily activities and operations. For urgent matters, our warranty team is available to respond 24/7.
PRECONSTRUCTION APPROACH
TAKING OWNERSHIP
We take a proactive approach to our engagement in a project. As a 100% employee owned company, every member of our team takes ownership to maximize cost savings, control schedules, and mitigate risk for our clients.
CREATING TOOLS TO HELP OUR CLIENTS
The traditional budgeting process is largely reactionary. Our process develops budgets earlier on the front end to allow owners to communicate their non-negotiables and programming requirements, while getting the most value of our partnership by drawing on our expertise of market trends and costs.
Specific programming is unique to every project. Ensuring programming meets a client’s vision, operational needs, and budget, requires a collaborative approach. We engage early to work with a client to define the full scope of a project. This collaboration allows clients to put real numbers to their programming and design to a budget. This process minimizes design rework, helps streamline the entitlement process, and creates overall efficiency in project start and completion.
We created two distinct tools to support a proactive budgeting process for our clients:
Dashboard: Our Multi-Family Dashboard leverages our multi-family experience by giving owners a holistic snapshot of how different programming decisions can impact the overall budget. It provides comparisons to real numbers from comparable past projects to help clients meet programming and budget objectives.
Checklist: Our Multi-Family Checklist provides clients with a tool to ensure that all project costs are being accounted for rather than looking at costs in silos. It is a user-friendly tool that includes everything from entitlements, code requirements, engineering, and design, in addition to construction costs.
BENEFITTING OWNERS
Maintaining Budget – Utilizing these tools, as well as drawing on our extensive relevant experience and historical cost analysis, we are able to maintain an expert understanding of the existing market conditions and fluctuations, and establish complete and accurate cost analysis throughout the design and engineering process.
Managing Schedule – By locking in costs early and proactively managing projects, we ensure your project delivers within a prime leasing window, setting you up for success.
Value Engineering – Brinkman Construction takes a proactive approach to value engineering so as not to detract from the overall vision of the project. This approach is a collaborative team effort from the onset of design throughout the entire process which engages the experts around the table to evaluate design options and their cost/benefit analysis. Our process ensures you are getting the best value at every level of design.
