Letter from the Editor Hi Key Club! I hope everything is going well with your Spring Semester! Keep on the lookout for more service projects, socials, and donation drives coming up; there will be plenty of opportunities to earn your hours! The officers have made some changes to the rules and requirements, so make sure to refer back to our past meeting presentation from January to stay updated. HOURS The hours requirement for spring semester is 12 hours Unfinished hours requirements from last semester will not roll over Everyone's fall semester will count towards cords!! Keep checking the OSC to ensure your credits are accounted for
CORDS- CLASS OF 2021 Be a member of Key Club for 3 semesters (does not have to be consecutive) Meet hours and social requirements Turned in permission forms/dues Submit 3 key-club related essays (submit through google classroom) Check out the posted list of seniors who qualify!
SOCIALS The socials requirement for spring semester is 3 credits Keep participating in our movie festival and virtual socials to get your credits and stay connected with your fellow key-club members!

ARTICLES Submit an article for 1 physical hour! The subject can be any Key Club related topic! Examples: How Key Club has impacted you, describe your favorite service project, etc. Minimum 400 words Turn articles in to the assignment posted on Google Classroom for Spring 2021
PHOTOS Submit 10 photos for 1 physical hour! Photos must be in good quality, and feature Key Club related subjects Preferably candid photos! Turn photos in to Google Classroom to receive credit Photos may be featured in our monthly newsletters!

Upcoming Events Mesa Outreach Volunteering | Bear Creek United Methodist Church | 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Help out with Mesa Outreach's "Scouting for Food" day! There are two time slots, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Make sure to wear a mask and your Key Club t-shirt if you have one!

Lunch Lady and Janitor Appreciation Deadline | Rooms 1512 or 3303 Donate supplies and write thoughtful notes to thank our lunch ladies and janitors at Bridgeland! Make sure to fill out the google form and take a picture of yourself with your donation for credit. (Note: there are no drop-off days for this project)
Friendship "Speed Dating" Social | "Icebreaker" Website | 5:00 pm Join us for Friendship "Speed Dating": a great way to get to know your fellow Key Club members and officers! The link will be posted on the day of, and you can choose to be put in random groups for games or hang out in the main lobby.
General Meeting | Via Zoom | 3:45 pm Attend our general meeting to receive important updates about upcoming service projects, socials, and club information. Meetings are a great time to ask any questions you may have as well!

The Children's Miracle Network works to provide care for children across the U.S. and Canada. Kiwanis International has contributed more than $36 million through fundraisers and events to support and raise awareness for the Children's Miracle Network.
March of Dimes is a nonprofit healthcare organization working to provide medical care and financial support of mothers and babies in need. Key Club has been partnered with March of Dimes since 1978 to help provide equal care for mothers of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
15 Kiwanis has been working to support UNICEF through the Eliminate Project since 2010, which provides medical care for maternal/neonatal tetanus cases worldwide. This project also aims to provide clean water, nutrition, and vaccines to eliminate this disease entirely.
The Thirst Project is an organization started by a group of students aiming to provide clean drinking water to communities in need. The Thirst Project has provided drinking water to 367,000 people in over 13 countries over the last ten years, and Key Club has been working to raise money for this organization over the past four years.
