Hello Beautiful,
Merry Christmas to you! This time of year makes me so happy and full of joy. I hope you are experiencing much of the same. I remember being a little girl and getting so excited dreaming up what gifts I might get. We never had a lot of money so I never got any of the popular, hot toys but I always enjoyed and was thankful for what I did get. I think the funnest part for me though was creating Christmas cards every year for all my family, extended members included. And I would even make them for my friends and teachers. I remember spending months each year leading up to Christmas, coming up with the design and drawing each one out. Then I always included a special message for each person. I did not have much to give and I did not even get to see many of my family for years but it still impacted them. It was years later when I stopped doing the cards that I would get word of how it deeply impacted one family member or the other. That always made the time and effort that I had put into those cards worth it. Whether you have a little or a lot this year, give from your heart. Karissa Hagemeister-Irani is on a life long journey to share love, beauty and truth with the world. She enjoys modeling, acting and singing. She has her own fashion line and in July of 2016, Karissa published her first book. Her future plans are to revamp the fashion & entertainment industry with the love, truth and beauty through both her fashion business and Beautiful & Dauntless magazine. Editor-in-Chief of the Dauntless section of the magazine, Arman Irani, married Karissa in June of 2019.

Arman Irani is just another fellow human. He’s admittedly a little bit nerdy. How nerdy? Well, he just received a Bachelors degree in Nanotechnology. Arman loves working out, cooking healthy, dressing up, traveling and he’s also a bit of a gamer. He has no qualms with moving in faith to new destinations and embarking on new adventures in life (as the phrase goes, you only live once!). When it comes down to it, Arman believes life is short and hopes that you become inspired and believe in yourself to do the things that you want in this life and follow your calling.

Arnette German is a native of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She took her leap of faith and finally decided to yield to her passion for fashion by enrolling in the online Graduate Program of Fashion Journalism at Academy Art University in San Francisco, California. No stranger to the stage, Arnette is a member of the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in Sarasota, Florida. Presently calling Bradenton, Florida home, Arnette spends her free time either volunteering at her local church and spending time with friends and family, especially her best friend. Arnette is a foodie and a lover of nature and the arts. Life is definitely, in some shape or form and fashion, being lived to the fullest.

Have you ever marveled at the grandeur of the universe we live in? How the gravitational pull of our star is strong enough to keep eight planets in its grasp. The attraction, the force, the harmony of orbitals in balance. Stars are born and Stars die. Uranus will never cross paths with Mercury. Earth’s Moon can never say hello to Jupiter’s Io. Everything is in its place working in tandem within the greater design of solar systems and galaxies that compose our ever-expanding Universe. Space, distance, and movement work together in the confines of our tiny corner of the Milky Way and help us have a small understanding of Time. Take our Earth for instance, it revolves around the Sun in an elongated orbital. One complete orbital is 365 days. One rotation of the Earth, on its axis, is 24 hours. In the midst of Earth, adding to the symphony of order in our solar system, humanity lives. We break down a planetary rotation into individual hours, minutes, and even moments. Moments become engraved as memories as time progresses in the growth of our lives. As the Earth moves, so do we. We are born and raised. We mature and pass away just like stars. The greatest gift ever given to us has been the gift of Time because Time itself is affected by the bigger picture that we are a part of. Just like God gave us the Earth, which gives us our 24 hour sense of time, we too can give a portion of this time back to the ones we love during this holiday season. Remember that every second that passes becomes part of our history as the Earth continues to move. Make the most of each present moment and share the gift of Time.

Winding down this year with Proverbs 31 we can see that a true Proverbs 31 woman is one that care more about giving than receiving. At Christmas, many of us focus on what we will get from our husband, boyfriend, fiance or parents. But the true joy of Christmas comes when we give something valuable to those that cannot give back. Have you ever been stuck in one of those gifting circles? Where you give your friend a gift and then she gives you a gift of greater value, and then you feel like you have to get her something else to make up for it. And the circle just continues. You each feel like you owe something to the other. However, when you give a gift to someone who cannot give you something of equal or greater value in return there is a joy that comes from that. In Proverbs 31, much of the gifts that she gave were to her family. “She provides food for her family and portions for her female servants,” (Proverbs 31:15). “She has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet,” in the outfits she has made for them” (Proverbs 31:21). There is one verse in particular that stands out above the others, “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy” (Proverbs 31:20). The Proverbs 31 woman, both Biblical and modern day, gives to those that cannot give back. She welcomes, cares for and blesses those that have nothing, those that are in need in any way, and those that cannot return a gift of equal or greater value back to her. The takeaway here is to give big to those that cannot give back. When you give to those in need, you will always find joy and happiness in doing so. When you give to those in need, you will often be blessed back in a greater way from some other person or thing. Both of those are great reasons to give big, but the main reason we should give is to bless those that need our time, money, resources, etc … more than we do. You may not have a lot to give this Christmas. You may have an abundance that you can give. Whatever your particular circumstances are, give out of the pure motive of blessing everyone that will be receiving. Give big out of the genuineness of your heart. 18

Many of you may have heard of the direct sales beauty and skin care company known as Mary Kay. But many of us do not know how it all started and who is behind the whole thing. Mary Kay Ash is the mother of the Mary Kay company. Growing up, Mary Kay Ash was taught the “can do” spirit as she helped her mother care for her ailing father. It was that same attitude that she carried with her when her husband left her, to raise her children alone, and she had to join the workforce in a direct sales company. In the 1960’s Mary Kay Ash worked hard to grow and teach those that came up in the company behind her. After working it for 25 years, she resigned when yet another younger man that she had trained was promoted above her with double the pay. This happened several times to her while trying to support her family, working in this direct sales company. After spending so many years in the man’s world of business, she sat down and made two lists. One list was of the things that company did right and the other was of things that could be improved upon. She realized that this was a business plan for the perfect direct sales company. In 1963, Mary Kay Ash took her experience, her “can do” attitude, her plan and her life savings of $5,000 and started Beauty by Mary Kay. This company was based on the Golden Rule, not the competitive rule. With years of nurturing the company, Mary Kay Ash was able to grow the company to being the largest and best skin care and beauty direct sales company in the USA, and a top 5 brand globally. With Fortune magazine placing it on the list of 100 Best Companies to Work for in America and one of the 10 best companies for women. Mary Kay Ash’s goal for the company was to provide women an unlimited opportunity for financial growth and personal success. Her goal is still at work today. There are over 3.5 million consultants worldwide that are blessed from working in this beautiful company. These women that join the Mary Kay family are able to make something great of their life, all while being rewarded with gifts (career cars, diamond rings, cash, designer bags …) in the process. Cozumel, Mexico is a beautiful region of Mexico full of rich culture and history. There is so much to do and experience, even though only a small portion of the island is inhabited. Cozumel thrives off from tourism and one of the biggest draws for tourists are the Mayan ruins. We had an opportunity to take a day trip to Cozumel and we were able to explore some of the hidden gems of the island. Our trip consisted of sightseeing at some of the ruins, chocolate tasting and a trip to the beach. There are several different sites for the Mayan ruins, so if you are hoping to see something specific double check to make sure your tour guide is taking you to that specific location. We did not go to the most impressive ruins, but it was still really cool to see some of the old stone buildings and arch ways that the Mayans used several years ago.
One thing to keep in mind when you are out at these ruins is to bring a lot of bug spray. There were so many mosquitoes there. Thankfully our tour guide had spray for us. But everyone was getting bitten up the entire time so our tour got cut a little short. Another thing to bring is some sunscreen and water. It gets very hot out there and there are not necessarily going to be any water fountains hanging around. After our stop at the ruins, we traveled to The Mayan Cacao Company to see where they make chocolate, how the Mayans made chocolate and then we got to sample so many different forms of chocolate. It was so tasty and amazing!!

From there, we traveled on down to the Playa Mia Grand Beach Park. It is a special resort on the beach that tourists can pay to enter. They have water slides, pools, big, blow up bouncy contraptions in the ocean, food, drinks and so much more. It was nice to relax at the beach after a long day of exploring. Arman had a blast on the bouncy things in the water. We will post some videos that he took with the Go Pro so you can see what it was like. We definitely recommend taking a trip to Cozumel, Mexico if you ever get the chance. The people are so sweet and the experience is well worth it. You should definitely book with a tour company because that will help you avoid any bumps in the road.

GF Green Bean Casserole Ingredients: 1 can Gluten Free Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup 1/2 cup soy milk 1 teaspoon gluten free soy sauce 1 dash black pepper 1 dash of salt 4 cups cooked cut green beans 1 1/3 cups Gluten Free French Fried Onions Directions:
1. Stir the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, green beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. 2. Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions. 3. Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

GF Biscuit Chrsitmas Tree Ingredients: 1 lb. pre-made Bob’s Red Mill GF pizza dough Egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water) 7 mozzarella sticks 1/4 c. melted butter 1/2 c. finely grated Parmesan 1 tbsp. Thinly sliced basil 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 tbsp. chopped rosemary Marinara, warmed (for serving) Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Cut mozzarella sticks into 1” pieces and set aside. 3. On a floured surface, divide pizza dough into two pieces. Stretch and roll each piece of dough into a long rectangle, then cut dough into 2” squares (you will need 33 total). 4. Wrap a dough square around each piece of mozzarella, forming a tightly sealed ball. Place balls seamside down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (they should be touching). Brush egg wash on dough balls and bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes. 5. Meanwhile, whisk together melted butter, Parmesan and herbs. Brush on baked pizza balls. Serve warm with marinara for dipping. 39

Gluten Free Ginger Bread Cookies 1 1/2 cups (210 g) all purpose gluten free flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup (109 g) packed light brown sugar
6 tablespoons (84 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature 4 tablespoons (84 g) unsulphured molasses 1 tablespoon (21 g) honey
1 egg (60 g, weighed out of shell) at room temperature, beaten 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Your facorite Icing, for decorating (optional) Directions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and salt, and whisk to combine well. Add the brown sugar and whisk again to combine, working out any lumps. Create an opening in the center of the dry ingredients and add the butter, molasses, honey, egg and vanilla, mixing to combine after each addition. The dough should be thick and sticky.
3. Transfer the dough to parchment paper, cover with another sheet of parchment and roll into a rectangle. Place it in the refrigerator or freezer after you roll it out to allow it to firm up. Once firm, dip a cutter of your choosing in the flour, and use it to cut out shapes from the cookie dough. With each cut, jiggle the cutter back and forth to create a neat shape. Place the dough on a cutting board and place in the freezer until firm (about 10 minutes).
4. Once the dough has firm, carefully peel off the cut-out shapes and place them, about 1 1/2-inches apart, on the prepared baking sheets. Repeat the process with the remaining dough until you have used it all. 5. Place the cut-outs on the baking sheets in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator. Place in the center of the preheated oven and bake for about 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheets. Decorate the completely cooled cookies with icing, if desired. Allow the icing to set for 24 hours before stacking the cookies.

Hello Dauntless Dudes, hope your having an awesome December time to be thankful or, wait, was that what we do in November because of Thanksgiving and stuff?? Well actually, the month shouldn’t matter. We should always be giving thanks, because of what our father in Heaven, Elohim, has done for us. In fact, Abba loves a cheerful giver since he is the one that has given us life to begin with. That’s a pretty cool thing to give. He also gave us his son Yeshua (Jesus) to save us all from going to Hell, since we have all sinned and “As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT).
It is a harsh reality but thank God that he loves us all and gave us the ultimate sacrifice. What an amazing and righteous King we serve: humble, kind and badass all rolled up into human flesh.
Furthermore, we were made in the image of God, so we can all be givers. Giving back to the planet we live on, showing compassion to others human or animal, and taking care of our own temples… our bodies that God has given to us. “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’ And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, ‘They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.’ For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you,” (2 Corinthians 9: 6-10 NLT).
I personally am blown away by God. How could someone so great, powerful, and mighty also be so kind, generous, and compassionate towards his own creations? That he would send his only son to be the ONLY way to his Kingdom in Heaven, by no other works can we enter into Heaven or produce good fruit for his Kingdom. When we accept Christ into our hearts as our Lord and Savior, not only does he change the life we are living, he gives us a new life, a new hope, and a new reason for life. All the things of the past die and all the sins we had committed no longer phase him. They are washed away by the blood of our eternal God, Jesus. Thanks to him for giving us a way to save our souls. Without it we would just die like everyone else who doesn’t believe and then meet the King when it is too late, and get told the scariest words in all of existence. “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’” (Matthew 7:2123). Remember to love your neighbors as you love yourself and to spread the gospel to those, to the ends of the earth. Do it out of love and not out of a forceful nature as the gentiles would do so. This is one way in which we can give back to our spiritual father who has given so much to us. Plant seeds that others may be able to water and when it’s time for harvest, Jesus will take care of that. Stay Blessed… You are loved.

Walt Disney’s Legacy By Karissa Hagemeister-Irani Whether you like it or not, you have been impacted by the legacy that Walt Disney left on the world. He was a dreamer, a man of vision. He was not afraid to dream big, dream the impossible and work to make it a reality. Walt Disney pioneered the animations that we know and love. He built theme parks that the world had never before seen and now the world cannot get enough of them. He was a genius to say the least. The thing that stands out the most about Walt Disney, his legacy and his life is that he was also a giver. He wanted to give adults an escape from their reality. He wanted to give them a place to have fun and be a kid again. For the children, he wanted to give them hope and encouragement to dream big and go after their dreams. His life is the perfect example that we can literally make impossible things a reality. Walt Disney cared about the people that watched his shows and the ones that came to his park. He was constantly dreaming up new ways to make it more enjoyable, safer and easier. He would often sit in his theme parks just to watch how the guests were responding to different elements of their visit. He studied the distance that guests would hold trash in their hands before dropping it and made sure to place trash cans at those exact distance across the parks. He is one dreamer that I would have loved to have had a chance to meet and just hear his dreams and visions. He has changed the world as we know it. I cannot imagine a world without all the things that he did and that the Disney company has poured into to make it something greater. Arman and I love to go to the parks, to watch Disney movies and shows, to go on Disney cruises. There is just something about being in those atmospheres that allows us to dream a little bigger, hope a little longer and experience such an incredible joy. Amidst all that Walt Disney left the world, the biggest legacy and gift he left behind is that of hope and dreams. He gave the world hope and he continues to with every person that walks through the parks, with every new movie released.

Hello Dauntless, Hope you guys are having a Merry Christ-mas aka more fun with Christ in your lives this holiday season! I know many of you may have a variety of questions for God like why this situation has to be like that or like this… but I pray for each of you all, that he blesses you with wisdom and knowledge to see the Truth. This is what I wish for you all, “Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.” (Proverbs 4:5 NLT). This verse has been instrumental in my life for a multitude of reasons, especially when I am put in situations where I am just not sure what the right thing to do is. Remember who you should aim to please and serve: a living God, not false idols made of wood, stone, metals etc - things that don’t have ears or mouths to speak with. I also hope during this holiday season that you can learn to trust in Elohim more this coming year, as he is the one that moves us forward into the right seasons of our lives and knows the number of hairs on our head. So why wouldn’t he know the best plans for our lives. One thing I found interesting about the Bible in my short journey as a believer is that, you either believe it all or none of it at all. LIke you can’t just believe some parts of the Bible and ignore other parts - it’s not really up to us. We are chosen by Abba to follow the path he designed for us. As we continue to seek his guidance and trust in him through faith, he continues to lead us on this journey we call “life”. Remember at the end of it all, when we are dead, it only matters how you loved your neighbors and how you shared your testimony of Jesus with others. Hopefully we won some souls for God’s kingdom. The enemy is real, but the battle is not in the Middle East or Russia, rather in your mind. It’s the day to day grind and thoughts that you have in your own mind that are taking you on God’s journey for your life (spiritual) or your own (physical based on your own way of what’s right/wrong). The greatest thing about the Bible though is that God always leads his people to victory in every story that has been written. He helps the individuals fulfill their purpose. To be straight up and honest, I sometimes feel lost and off track. I honestly don’t even know if I’m doing anything effective writing these letters. 52
But I know that God is in control and so I do it for him not myself. Hopefully you too will learn to live your life this way so that God can make us be bright shining lights for his Kingdom.
