iscovering Recovery by Effectively Achieving Milestones (DREAM), is a 12-week, comprehensive program designed to address the specific needs of young adults between the ages of 18-26, also known as Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), who are experiencing mental health concerns, substance abuse obstacles, gender identity challenges, and relationship stumbling blocks. Conducted in a secure and completely virtual setting, this online group therapy utilizes evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is a part of our Center for Mental Health and Addictive Disorders, Intensive Outpatient Program. Participants will engage in therapeutic work needed to build a foundation for long-term success.

A BETTER LIFE IS IN REACH! l Gain the skills necessary

to effectively manage symptoms and selfdestructive behaviors. l Breakdown the stigma

and learn to normalize mental health and addiction experiences. l Acquire the skills to improve

social, vocational, and educational opportunities. Through the years, we have seen the growing crisis for access to mental health and addiction treatment, specifically for the young adult population. We understand that early treatment and care are crucial to managing behavioral health needs, which can disrupt the lives of not only those who struggle with the condition,

but the lives of family, friends and loved ones. There’s a fulfilling life on the other side of mental illness and addiction, and we’ve designed a unique program that engages young adults and surrounds them with group participants within the same age range who are on their own recovery journey. Virtual programing is not for everyone and the appropriateness depends on a number of factors including acuity levels. However, it is proven to be as successful, and for some, more successful, compared to in-person group therapy. Many young adults are familiar with engaging in a digital way, and find it reassuring to receive therapy

and treatment from the comfort of their own space. With the support of family, friends, and our professional, committed treatment team we can equip participants with the skills needed to succeed. We understand the difficulties faced by this generation of young adults and we meet the needs head on to promote overall wellbeing. We work with each individual participant in shaping their own recovery journey. We know that with support, knowledge, and coping tools, participants will find success in coping with life’s challenges.
