Witness the magic of Wicked in Edinburgh

Welcome to the

Edinburgh Playhouse I am delighted to welcome you to our new season brochure. Whilst the weather is frosty, we’ve got live entertainment to warm your heart. We’ve been busy opening the UK tours of Disney’s Aladdin and Wicked, but that’s not all we’ve been up to. In October we launched our three charity partnerships for 2023/2024. We’re proudly working with SAMH, Vintage Vibes and SiMBA, facilitating collections, taking part in fundraising events and raising awareness of their work. This follows a successful year of raising over £70,000 for Maggies, Ecas and Waverley Care combined. We’re also working in collaboration with local hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions to put the best of Edinburgh in our spotlight, and help you make special memories in the city we all love. Learn more on pages 38 & 39. Finally, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve launched our Creative Learning programme. We look forward to connecting our community to our theatre through a range of multi-art opportunities for people of all ages to get involved, including tours, classes, workshops and school visits. We hope you’ll join us in one of these soon. Take your time to browse our brochure and soak up the magic that’s on its way.
