A Cinderella Story for Our Time
Pretty Woman: The Musical brings big dreams and big hair to Woking.
In 1990, the romantic Hollywood blockbuster Pretty Woman, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, took the cinema-going public by storm. Made on a budget of just $14 million dollars, it earned over $463 million in global box office receipts and transformed Julia Roberts from a hot Hollywood newcomer into an international superstar. In every sense, the film was a fairy tale for the modern age. The timeless story begins when Edward, a successful businessman who doesn’t have time for a conventional relationship, resorts to unconventional means. With no lady to help him entertain his influential clients, he hires escorts to fulfil the role of partner on an ‘as needed basis’. Unexpectedly, Edward falls for the beautiful, free-spirited Vivian Ward over a series of dinners and dates. He sweeps her off her feet and changes her life forever.
If you think this story can only be brought to life on the big screen, you’d be wrong. Pretty Woman: The Musical is a dazzlingly theatrical take on this iconic love story. It’s essentially a reluctant Prince Charming, being lost in the spell of an unlikely Cinderella as Vivian transforms herself from brash Hollywood streetwalker to a princess for keeps. Pretty Woman: The Musical has everything you need
to lift your spirits and light up your heart, with big musical scores, big characters and, of course, big hair!
Featuring incredible original music and lyrics by GRAMMY Award-winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter J.F. Lawton, it is directed and choreographed by the two-time Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell. Of course, no musical with such a title could be complete without the classic Roy Orbison track, Pretty Woman. If any show in 2023 is guaranteed to make you smile, it has to be this one.
In an interview in Playbill in 2017, director Jerry Mitchell said that the score ‘will have the feel of late 80s-early 90s rock: That’s one of the great things about Bryan Adams – it’s where he lives. So, you’ve got the rock and roll stuff, the up-tempos.’ *
Perfect with mates or dates, you’ll experience all of the classic moments and one-liners you love from the film – but also get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way. So, with the show now embarking on a highly successful UK tour, we’d encourage you to head to Beverly Hills for a night and witness one of the most iconic love stories of all time. It’ll be a big night out. Big. Huge!
Hollywood’s ultimate rom-com is now ‘A DAZZLING STAGE SHOW.’ (Daily Express). Make a date to see Pretty Woman: The Musical live on stage in Woking, starring Amber Davies (9 to 5, Back to the Future), Oliver Savile (Wicked) and Natalie Paris (Olivier Award-nominated for SIX)
Direct from the West End, this smash hit musical features a blazing rock score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, Kinky Boots) and all the iconic moments from the movie!
Be swept up in their romance in this dazzlingly theatrical take on a love story for the ages.
A perfect night of escapism for both dates and mates, book your tickets for a trip to Rodeo Drive and get ready for a big night out. Big. Huge! Ages 12+

SANTA’S MAGICAL GIFT
Holly, Santa’s newest elf and Trixie the experienced elf are busy decorating Santa’s workshop in the lead-up to Christmas, cutting out beautiful snowflakes from white paper. Holly reveals Lapland’s biggest secret, that once a year Santa sends a magical gift to one person who deserves it the most. Holly writes her Christmas wish on a snowflake and places it on the window ledge before going to bed. That night a gust of wind takes the snowflake, and in the morning a large golden gift appears in its place.
Is it really Santa’s Magical Gift? Christmas Eve finally arrives and Santa enters his workshop to a huge round of applause. Will the elves’ decorations be finished in time? Will Holly get her Christmas wish? And what exactly is the secret of Santa’s Magical Gift? Ages 3+.
