Some of our favourite walks near-by include Glencoe Lochan, which is relatively easy, if you prefer a tougher walk try out The Pap of Glencoe, you will see amazing views, and if you would like to challenge yourself, climb the Devils Staircase Always check the weather conditions, and you are welcome to let us know where you are heading to

EVENING

Take a short drive to our sister hotel, Ballachulish Hotel, for some local seafood overlooking Loch Linnhe After dinner, why not take a short wander by the loch, and across the Ballachulish Bridge where you can take in the panoramic views of the two lochs - Linnhe and Leven, surrounded by mountains.

AFTERNOON

For even more breathtaking views, head west to Glenfinnan, about 50 minutes from the hotel Here, you will find the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct (aka the Harry Potter bridge), which stands proudly over the glen looking towards Loch Shiel We also recommend visiting the Glenfinnan Monument, a tranquil and haunting tribute to the 1745 Jacobite Rising, which began here

The loch is surrounded by a beautiful shoreline, the perfect spot for a picnic

EVENING

On your way back, why not visit our sister hotel, Ballachulish Hotel for dinner at FISH restaurant Specialising in seafood, these dishes are crafted using locally caught seafood - it doesn’t get fresher than this Alternatively, join us again in the Water’s Edge

If the weather is on your side, we recommend going to Cuil Bay, a 20-minute drive away, to watch the sunset over the bay This tranquil beach is home to plenty of wildlife, and the shimmering loch is truly mesmerising
