Health & Wellness Savings & Retirement Time & Life Simplicity, Choice & Flexibility Cerner offers a complete set of benefits to address your physical, financial and emotional health. At Cerner, we believe the foundation for a successful career starts with a variety of options that meet your needs while supporting a healthy lifestyle. You are eligible to enroll in Cerner Benefits on your first day of employment. Eligibility for Cerner Benefits will vary by benefit. Generally, most associates will be eligible for Benefits.

Healthe at Cerner lets you take an active role in managing and achieving your health and wellness goals; it is our mission to empower associates and their families to obtain their optimal level of health.

Health & Wellness About Healthe at Cerner As a consumer of health care, you have the right to information, quality care, expedited reimbursement and increased convenience. You and your family should feel empowered and have the tools to actively manage all aspects of your health + care. Healthe at Cerner sets new standards for consumer-driven health care. By accessing the tools and participating in programs Healthe at Cerner offers, you will create and enhance the connections you need to make the best health care choices for you and your family.
Health Club Reimbursement Cerner encourages healthy lifestyles and offers a health club reimbursement program for athletic club membership dues at approved facilities. Associates may be reimbursed for 50% of monthly fees up to an annual maximum of â‚Ź650.

Health Care
Medical Cerner Portugal associates have access to a private health insurance through our partner Groupama Seguros. The health plan offers you coverage for necessary treatment of medical conditions including: Maternity
Outpatient
Dental
Glasses
Medicines
Cerner pays 100% of the premiums for the associates and coverage begins on your first day of employment. Additional cost applies for associates who choose to cover dependents. You must use the Advance Care medical network. Deductible and reimbursement amounts are based upon service. 6
Retirement Cerner’s comprehensive pension scheme ensures the financial wellbeing of our associates and their families. Cerner will match your pension contributions up to the maximum of 3% of your monthly salary. The plan scheme is managed by Pensoesgere and offers three investment options with risks ranging from 0% to 40%.

Leaves & Personal Accidents Insurance Leaves Cerner provides a comprehensive set of absence policies to allow associates the ability to balance personal and work needs. These include:
Maternity Paternity Parental Adoption Wedding Bereavement leave
Personal Accidents Insurance Cerner provides a Personal Accidents Insurance that covers Death and Total Permanent Disability with an insured sum of 28x monthly salary. The coverage is for professional and extraprofessional risks. It’s a very comprehensive insurance that covers some activities usually excluded: amateur sports and utilization of motorcycles.

Time Off Time Off As a Cerner associate, annual leave time is provided to you each year to allow you to take time off from work regularly, with pay, for rest, relaxation, and other personal time. Annual leave time at the rate of 22 days per year will be available to each associate and it will accrue on a monthly basis beginning on your date of hire.
Illness Cerner Time off for illness is based on your personal needs; if you are sick, you should stay home from work until you are well enough to return to work. Cerner also offers disability benefits for all eligible associates:

Holiday Cerner recognizes 13 public holidays per year (updated in 2016).

Additional Benefits Includes:
Meal Vouchers: Cerner partnered with Edenred to provide meal vouchers in the amount of 6,83 euros per working day. The amount is loaded in a card called Euroticket.
Associate Assistance Program: Cerner has contracted with New Directions an Associate Assistance Program (EAP). New Directions provides pre-paid counseling services by licensed counselors. Associates and/or their family may access this service via telephone. Service is available on a variety of topics (i.e. work, family, personal). New Directions’ specialists provide assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to participants. The confidential counseling consists:

help addressing stress, depression, relationships, parenting, substance abuse, work related problems.
