Ocala International Horse Show

The Ocala International Horse Show is unlike any other. We strive to provide premier entertainment, engagement, and hospitality while highlighting world-class athletes and show horses. As a Florida nonprofit, 501(c)(3) we are dedicated to educating the public about the breeds included in our show and are proud that our proceeds benefit local charities.

After a highly successful inaugural event in 2021, the show went on to win the People’s Choice Show of the Year in both 2022 and 2023. This success would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. Moreover, thanks to the support and dedication of a strong group of Founding Sponsors, this exciting show has quickly become a highly anticipated pinnacle of the show season. It will be held for the 4 th consecutive year on October 22-26, 2024 at the prestigious World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.

Located in “The Horse Capital of the World”, the World Equestrian Center of Ocala is the largest equestrian complex in the United States, known for holding some of the most notable events in the equestrian world. WEC features a 5-star hotel, over 100,000 sq ft of retail space, 7 restaurants, a 41,000

sq ft veterinary clinic, a chapel, 2,100 permanent temperature-controlled stalls, 16 outdoor arenas, 5 indoor climate-controlled arenas, and much more. WEC shares Ocala International Horse Show’s desire to continuously exceed expectations and continues to enhance its facilities each year. Their newest project, a second hotel named “The Riding Academy”, will be four-stories and pet-friendly. The hotel is expected to open in June of 2024.

This state-of-the-art facility provides the perfect location to showcase the many performance breeds that attend our show, including, but not limited to, the American Saddlebred, Morgan, Hackey Pony, Roadster, and Dutch Harness Horse. WEC is a dramatic backdrop for our show, perfectly complementing our exquisite show horses and earning enthusiastic accolades by horsemen and spectators alike. These breeds make OIHS one of the most unique shows hosted at WEC, and we are honored to have this opportunity to promote our industry.
