Wildlife

Africa transformed us.

It taught us some of life’s biggest lessons. It taught us how to coexist in harmony, with respect & devotion to Nature. It taught us to overcome fears. It taught us to look beyond the obvious. It taught us to work with elements, rather than against them, to create art.

We struggled with the heatwave that made many of our shots hazy and unclear. We had a set vision for a shot, but no matter what we tried, it just didn’t work. At one moment we stopped, let go of control & tried something different. That is how The Oasis was born.

It took us three trips, three years, and numerous safaris to capture the shot of lion brothers. The moment of their interaction captured was truly worth all the effort.

Every image taken is a raw and authentic moment, something we value and cherish as photographers.

Our journey started as a photography project, a way to connect everyone during the 2020 pandemic, when the freedom we used to have has been modified and the new “normal” was unfamiliar and different. We wanted to create something that would bring some smiles, brighten the new (and then gruesome) reality, and unite the people across the globe.

We followed the safety protocols meticulously as we traveled across the globe in the heat of the pandemic, driven by the idea that we believed in and fueled by the receptivity and encouragement from the audience who read the editorials we put together.

In the process we learned a lot of new things. We made life-long new friends. Fell in love with many different cultures. Got to be a part of some amazing charitable causes.

The more we traveled, the more we wanted others to see the world through our eyes.
